I just had perhaps the worst shopping experience of my life at Replay Toys. I just left this Murfreesboro location and felt deeply disturbed after leaving. During my time in the store, the man working the counter did not say a single word to me (I don’t know his name, but I can describe him). Then I noticed as I browsed the store, he was staring at me the whole time. He didn’t look at my girlfriend who was with me, didn’t look anywhere in the store other than me. When I left, he didn’t say a single word to me. My girlfriend and I got in my car which was facing the building. He proceeds to come to the front door and stare at me in my car. He then goes to the corner of the store and continues to stare at me while talking to someone in the store. This leads me to believe he thinks I was stealing something which is extremely upsetting. I am a rewards member of the store, I have dozens of purchases dating back to February 2022, and then I have to deal with being stalked by an employee for a reason that’s not incredibly clear. I might have looked jittery because of my social anxiety which is NOT a valid reason to hawk over a customer and then stare at them in their car for 5 minutes. I never want to see that man again and I can confidently say that I will NEVER shop at Replay Toys again. This has been the most pathetic excuse of a shopping experience I have ever been a part of. The complete opposite of professionalism and what Replay Toys SHOULD be. I just hope this strange, troubled man hasn’t scared off any other customers with...
Read moreIf I seriously could give this place a 0 I would I liked them until they lied to me. I asked them about an item I bought for $279 and they told me it was a collectors when I got home and they opened it for their birthday. It was a piece of plastic that look like you could buy it for $20 at Walmart. I will not be giving my service to this place ever again. Make sure you really look into anything you buy from this!
Ps. To the owner, who replied back to me I don’t see you making it very long in this business giving nasty replies back to your customers comments I see it’s not only mine also You did not give me a full store credit which I think is ridiculous due to the sword was never properly sealed. It was sealed by a piece of tape that an employee put on it. And second you like to say 100 times on the phone that your store is a toy store then why do you sell statues that are collector items, if it’s a “toy store” exactly why I thought the sword was a collectors item not a piece of plastic. Which for $270 I would think it would be a collectors item not something...
Read moreI have a handful of complaints, but the first and most important one is: They have an art print of John Wayne Gacy displayed and for sale in their store. A real serial killer who took the lives 33 boys and young men in the 70s that were REAL PEOPLE. So to not only have this in your store, and therefore glorify what he did, but to make money off of it is in poor taste, at the VERY least. It’s outright disrespectful to the real people who were impacted by this, both the victims and their families. My other complaints seem vapid and unimportant in light of that, but what’s available in the store feels very trendy-hoppy—as in, it seems like they offer what they think people will buy instead of what people actually want. There’s a lot of blind bags/boxes, loungefly, and figures that all seem kind of overpriced and could be bought elsewhere for cheaper. The store is usually clean and well-organized, but that isn’t enough to make me want...
