Havertys Furniture — Attraction in Murfreesboro

We are new to the Murfreesboro, TN area coming from Ohio. We have had a horrible experience with another well known furniture store (starts with A ends with y) and reluctant about buying more furniture. Until we met Ms. Barbara! She was very pleasant and genuinely helped us not only with our furniture needs but eased our fears of not wanting to have another nightmare with the horrible experience we had with that other furniture store. She was not “salesy”, she took into account what we were looking for and she took notice that we knew exactly what we wanted and did not want. There were some items that almost met our needs and style and she suggested “online”. We expressed to her that we like to see it in person, because often times what you see online doesn’t necessarily look like it in person. She understood. She was very caring, warm, and very customer service focused. We loved her so much instead of buy 1 piece of furniture we bought 2. Wanted to give a big shout out to the Murfreesboro Location! Haverty’s just left after delivering my new bedroom set and I am extremely thrilled with delivery!

I had been eyeing this Set for about 6 months, decided to stop in last Tuesday (6/7/25) to lay eyes on it and continue my research. There, I met Candice, the store manager. She was extremely helpful in gathering my research.

She told me the set was on back order so I decided to go ahead and add my name to the list/reservation. What was supposed to be a 6 week wait, ended up only being a 7 DAY WAIT!

I had my furniture delivered this morning (6/17/25), and they quickly had everything assembled and ready for me. All I had to do was take a step back.

I am busting at the seams with joy! Saturday my husband and I visited the Murfreesboro TN store. David Holloway was my sales associate. He made my shopping experience an absolute pleasure. I had 5 rooms to furnish so I was worried my husband would lose patience. David helped me take that pressure off. He knew exactly what I was looking for and even though it did take some time to find everything and get checked out, my shopping experience seemed to fly by. Most of all my husband was so pleased that I was able get everything in one store at the same time. He was even more pleased with the great deals they gave us.
