Very excited to see Kung Fu Tea opening up in Murfreesboro! They’re currently under going their soft open with plans for the official grand opening to be on March 20th. Came in about 30 minutes after they kicked off their soft opening and was happy with their service. The wait was not long especially considering the soft opening and the bobaristas were getting used to the rush. Please note that this is a soft opening so be kind to the KFT team.
The interior is surprisingly spacious considering that the location is in a grocery store shopping center. They do have seating so you can sit while you wait for your order but seating is limited (at least for now).
Got the classic Kung Fu Tea, oolong milk tea, and the winter melon milk green tea. The drinks were great and consistent with what I’ve had at other KFT locations. I got the pudding which is a rare topping here in the TN area so super happy about that.
The consensus from our group is that we’re super satisfied with our drinks and we look forward to returning to try more of their drinks! Thank you KFT Murfreesboro for bringing more boba options...
Read moreThough boba tea is something I routinely have just about everywhere I go (I travel a lot in and out of state) this place definitely left me and my partner queasy and unsettled after the first few sips of each drink. Couldn’t finish either one of the drinks I got. The immediate reaction threw us off since it’s the first time in all the years I’ve gone out for boba that anything like it happens(no allergies to any listed ingredients or anything).
I had also never come across a place that makes you pay extra for the actual boba like this place does. 75 cents for the (at least in my experience at other places) normally already included tapioca bubbles and a whole dollar for the “premium toppings”, on top of the pretty standard drink prices. Bewildering, but oh well. The drinks themselves didn’t taste terrible, I guess just beware to anyone halfway sensitive, since it messed us up and we’re normally not sensitive to anything, it’s worth...
Read moreI’m so upset right now. Y wife ordered a boba drink on their app and I went to pick it up while she put the kids to bed, only to bring home the wrong drink and have to come back to correct it. Within that 15 minutes they ran out of boba and couldn’t remake my wife’s drink.
While I was waiting for my wife’s drink they were telling another customer they were out of several ingredients for their drink as well. I’m seriously bummed out over this.
And because I paid through the app I have to wait a day or two for my refund. Lame!!!
*it’s Sunday March 9th and I still have no received my refund!! Additionally if my drink was made correct the first time, I wouldn’t have showed up 11 minutes before closing asking for my drink to be corrected. My initial order was made well before closing. Using closing time as an excuse for running out of ingredients is a cop out. Do better!! And...
