We have been loyal patrons of Naperville Yard for 6 years now, and absolutely love and highly recommend it. There is not enough good things to say about their soccer program, ALL b/c of the most amazing and dedicated coach Jackie. This is absolutely, hands down, the best and most affordable place for children to learn beginner soccer skills. Coach Jackie not only teaches them soccer, but she teaches them discipline and respect. Her level of dedication and fairness is unparalleled. Haley, who I believe must supervise everything else, is the the hardest working, sweetest, and most dedicated person. The level of customer service she gives and expects from her team has always ensured our complete satisfaction. In 6 years I can't recall a day when Haley wasn't there, and can only recall coach Jackie taking one short vacation 😳 Haley's right hand woman, Taylor, is also always there providing super friendly customer service, and brightens the place up with her constant smile and kindness. And finally there is Eden. She is always managing the cafe and does a fantastic job! Her love for children is evident. She is incredibly kind, personable, and exactly the type of person you want training and overseeing customer facing employees. She is incredibly diligent about making sure all customers and kiddos are satisfied, and that everyone is safe by upholding strict guidelines on the sale and serving of adult beverages, which I really appreciate. If you are looking for the best place to have your kids train for soccer, or to throw an incredible birthday party with EVERYTHING included, and the absolute best customer service/experience Naperville Yard is where...
Read moreBirthday April 2023 When you are searching for kids birthday places you mostly look at what will keep them entertain and have fun and that’s why we picked this place for our boys birthday as they have 3parts divided for entertainment and my most attractive was that the activity host will play different games with kids so we choose 3 games according our age groups and confirmed this game atleast 3 times before birthday so there is no confusion and it flows that day without us worrying about it. The day comes, our host played 0 games 😒 and just gave our group soccer ball whole half hour and did even bother to communicate why this was happening. And reason given was that I did know and the kids are different ages😳 I mean whatttttt. Was so DISAPPOINTED and still am. The host was not engaging with kids at all. Hailey the party coordinator was great to work with but wish there was more communication within...
Read moreCoaches and teams, beware! The Yard’s league scheduling system is completely unfair. As a head coach for a local soccer club, I chose an 8-game season instead of 10 after being told it wouldn’t affect rankings. That was a blatant lie.
Rankings are based on win percentage (wins/games played), which gives a huge advantage to teams that play more games. My team finished 6-1-1, but we were ranked lower than an 8-2 team simply because they played more games. The system is rigged, and teams playing fewer games are set up to fail.
This isn't about losing—it’s about fairness. If fairness mattered, The Yard wouldn’t allow different game counts in the same league. But it’s clear they care more about making money than running a fair competition.
Bottom line: Play the full 10 games or, better yet, take your team somewhere that...
