Oh, where do I begin! A facility just like this was something I wished for since 2003! I am in my fourth month of membership with my dog, Cosette, and everything keeps getting better. I say “with” because being there almost everyday benefits me as much as it does my pup. The facility is state of the art fabulous. It is super clean. The entire park/play area is a dream come true. Dogs are so happy and owners are happy as well seeing their dogs have so much fun. The owners are hands on and have a staff of super qualified, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, hard working people who love dogs and people too! The top benefit to me with our membership is getting to meet, interact with and learn from so many wonderful people; Wag ‘N Paddle’s owners, employees and fellow dog owners. One or more of the staff is always on the floor with owners and the dogs. They interact with the dogs as needed, make sure the water bowls provided for the dogs are filled, assist owners immediately if an “oops” happens and clean up is rapidly needed, and help dogs who are new to the playground get used to the puppy protocol. I’ve seen a “new to the park” 8 month old greeted at the entrance (and we know how dogs greet each other, don’t we?) with her initial timidity rapidly disappear as she fell into place running with the big kids. Dogs are social animals and they all are clearly happy as can be chasing balls, chasing each other, wrestling, hurrying to the entrance when they hear someone coming in, making up games only they understand, and developing their agility skills on the amazing equipment provided on the floor just for agility purposes. Okay, I guess you can see I sincerely love this place. My dog and I are protected from all kinds of weather, in a bug free, goose poop free, mud free, tick free, skunk and coyote free environment. I haven’t even mentioned the pools for the dogs, the training classes, the special room for little dogs to play in or the fully equipped self service Dog Spa available to members. Don’t hesitate to check it out on your own before bringing your dog for an evaluation. If I could give this review ten stars I...
Read moreMy goldendoodle Finn and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Wag N’ Paddle! Finn cries in excitement when we are 3 blocks away because he can’t wait to go play! Their staff is incredibly passionate about the health and happiness of all of the dogs and I feel 100% comfortable visiting the park and also leaving my precious fur baby with them all day for daycare.
The temperament testing done to ensure all dogs can play nicely before entering the park is a game changer. Random people can’t just stroll in and let their dog loose and that gives me great peace of mind. They even have entry and exit gates to allow you to calmly introduce your dog into the pack. Tons of balls and agility obstacles are great fun for all the pups. Finn likes to play fetch with anyone that will throw the ball across the large indoor park and he sure gets worn out.
Their trained and friendly staff is always monitoring the dog’s play to make sure everything stays fun. All of the staff greet your dog by name and treat them like their own. The park and all of the facilities are incredibly clean and the staff is always quick to help mop up after any accidents. I took my mom to visit once and she said “it doesn’t even smell like there are dogs here!”
Their Canine College daycare program is unmatched for their enrichment activities- they do puzzles, obedience, agility, and even peanut butter flavored bubbles! Finn comes home happy and exhausted after a day of learning and playing. The report cards they send with pictures, behavior notes, and videos are such a blast.
All this to say that Wag N’ Paddle is our absolute favorite place and has made a huge positive impact on the socialization and happiness of my young pup. I’m super grateful for their staff and the fellow dog parents there for accepting us into their pack and making us feel so welcome. It isn’t just fun for the dogs, but for the...
Read moreI boarded my dog there a few weeks ago and it really took awhile for me to want a post a review. I dropped my dog off for a short few days stay; her first time boarding at this facility. I brought her, a bed, and her containers of food to be fed during the duration of her stay. The employee, Joey, checked us in and had me sign all of the forms. He was extremely helpful and explained everything to me super well. We confirmed her feedings for the stay and the pickup time for her 3 days later. The day of her pickup however I received a phone call while at work from the manager; saying my dogs pickup was 9 am and I was now late and she had no room for her to stay. Confused I called them back letting them know I confirmed her pickup time with Joey and I had paid for her to have a scheduled day at daycamp with them. She continued to argue with me and tell me I needed to pick her up right away. I called my parents to pick her up for me since I was at work. They then called me and let me know they gave us ALL of her food back; over the course of 3 days she wasn't fed any of her meals. I was completely shocked and so angry when the manager told them she was told we were just storing my dogs food at the facility. How does it make sense that I have my dog boarded for 3 days and 2 nights but I didn't want her fed? She was throwing up bile at home from being so hungry. The manager then called after the fact and said my dogs pickup time later that day was correct and she was scheduled for day camp (which they did charge me for), and it was "her bad". She was extremely rude, unprofessional and I have no trust that they would properly care for my dog the second time around. We use another facility that we love; I won't be giving this facility another try and I suggest you...
