I originally wrote this review for Rochester NH. They tagged it as Nashua. The Nashua one is good, but always busy and hard to find a parking spot. Rochester:Always the best prices and employees. Beautiful, well run store. They train their employees very well. I'm handicapped and the kids working there are always happy to bring me a handicapped scooter or carriage or to help load my groceries into the car. Great job with the customer service. My one complaint would be, although the deli people are good and hard-working, they don't need to show every slice to the customers, especially when there are over ten people waiting. Maybe they could just ask, thick, thin, or regular? This takes a lot of time for every item they slice. PostScript: This is still a beautiful Marketbasket and a great addition to the Rochester area. The deli, however is still a nightmare. They need the have numbers for the seafood. A few weeks ago, lobster was on sale. The seafood line moved very quickly, without deli numbers. I waited over 30 minutes for two items! One server is very slow and shows every slice to the customer. Please, just ask how they want it sliced! I'm not Lady Gaga; I'm not going to wear it or frame it. I'm just going to eat it! The deli manager needs to monitor the rush when it's busy. Also, when it's busy, stop the chit chat! I saw many people walk away from the deli one day. You're losing customers!!! PS Recently l walked out of the store twice because l needed just deli items and one employee just walked around helping anyone and two others show every slice of meat to the customers. Stop. You're...
Read moreReceived a wonderful new dent in side of my car thanks to negligence of another customer and poorly designed parking lot. Parking lot is on a slight slope and any cars parked in the lower half of the lot are subject to this same fun surprise. Was told by good samaritan witness that she saw a woman left her cart to roll downhill into my car and then proceeded to retrieve the cart and leave apparently. How nice! No one in the store could determine who was responsible but they graciously helped me file an incident report. I emailed corporate and the rejected my request for some goodwill assistance. I was truly disappointed that, in 2025, I have to worry about negligent behavior of other customers at market basket costing thousands of dollars of damage to my car. Cameras are cheaper than ever and the only camera in the lot they have only faces the entrance of the building. So park wisely here and be prepared to be left with the loss should such an unfortunate incident happen to you here.

Read moreQuite possibly the worst market basket in southern New Hampshire. After the bagger made sure to shove as much groceries as possible in each bag I jokingly said to my friend can’t wait for those to break open. We proceeded to drive home and now I have yogurt all over my driveway. Had to also remind the employee to bag all of my groceries before we almost walked off without everything. I never have problems with produce, bakery, kitchen or the meat department’s but grocery, dairy, frozen and checkout need to get their stuff together as there’s always issues. I’m avoiding this one as much as I can for now because every time I try to give them a second chance it’s always worse than the last. I understand that understaffing is a thing but maybe try to make a work environment that people actually want to work for and you might have an easier time finding employees. Walking into a market basket feels like walking into a relic that’s rundown and stuck...
