Beautiful store with a wonderful location. The love that so clearly goes into the business and the garments they care for and sell is unmistakeable. The owner, Trisha, has unmatched knowledge when it comes to her craft and business and itās wildly apparent that she has poured her heart and soul into The Hip Zipper, and it shows in the best way. Every time I set foot in the shop, itās a wonderful experience from the delightful staff and their gold star customer service to their ever growing, ever changing selection of gorgeous vintage items. Everyone continues to take the extra step to make their customers happy and make them feel heard while simultaneously being the much-needed voice for the beautiful, one-of-a-kind vintage clothing carry. You will not find a better store in East Nashville (but if you wanted to browse around, Trisha has been so kind as to keep a posted list in the shop promoting all the other vintage shops in the area!). Whether youāre just passing through, āon a missionā, new to town, a permanent resident, or just have a heart for vintage fashion, donāt pass up the opportunity to check this spectacular place out. Theyāve gained countless lifelong customers and supporters for a reason; go see why...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI bought a few nice pieces and ended up spending $250.00 however with my knowledge of Vintage clothing, this store is pretty overpriced and the website is even more expensive on things even from the 90s. During trying on clothes, I noticed a button missing on a shirt but really wanted to purchase it. I asked if they could possibly discount it a little for the missing button, this shirt was priced at $38 (overpriced for what it was) the store associate contacted the manager and I was told they could not discount, they would fix the shirt themselves and put it back onto the floor to be purchased at full price by someone else. I really wanted it so i bought it anyways but in my opinion this seemed a little steep and greedy... I feel the shop owner needs to be a bit more understanding since their pieces are already pricey and aged. Anyways, it is a nice little shop to check out because you will probably find something you like. You just have to decide if it is worth spending the money and supporting the shop! The...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI LOVE the hip zipper! And I love the owner, Tricia! She is the sweetest and coolest gal in Nasheville! I actually discovered her little shop at a music festival in Virginia. Whenever Iām in Nashville or just driving through I make sure I stop and always leave with awesome, one of a kind pieces. The location is really cool too! Get a pic with the Dolly muralš š This isnāt a thrift store, so donāt expect thrift store prices. You are paying for a truly original/hard to find items. I always get compliments on my fits from hip zipper and recommend her shop to anyone whoās interested. If youāre looking for a vintage store that you donāt have to dig through to find something awesome, please check them out! The only problem will be buying more than you...
