My husband & I took our 3 littles here Monday. Place is nice, yes. Staff is very blah for it to be geared towards kids. We weren’t greeted when we came in, no direction was given. Once I made it to the counter, I was asked if I filled a waiver out; I hadn’t so I went & completed waiver for us. When I was done, went back to counter for same young man to ask me if I completed the waiver, as if he hadn’t just directed me to do so & watched me go over & complete in less than 5 min. At this point I’m kinda irritated but trying to make the best of it for my littles, one of which was his 3rd birthday.
Here’s the thing that got me, they also charge entry fees for PARENTS of small children. Our littles are under the age of 7; 7, 5 & 3. I have no issues paying for my kids to enjoy themselves but charging parents to tend to their small children & REQUIRING them to buy Dino socks is wild! Additionally to tell parents if they don’t buy socks they have to wait in the cafe while their small children play unattended is sickening!! We were quoted $80 for the 5 of us & most of that was in socks. So I asked what the difference was bc husband & I were wearing socks, kids weren’t, so of course I’m going to buy socks for them to play. It brought the total down to $60 rather than 80+. (No other place in Nashville, makes parents pay for entry/socks when tending to small children. They give parents socks bc they realize said small children have to be tended to in order to explore & play safely.)
Once paid, we took off our shoes & put Dino grippy socks on kids to play. My husband quite literally stood in one spot as one little chose one area the hour we were there, while my other two explored majority of the gym. Again, we’d been there an hour & no one had said anything to us about our socks.
A young lady, with long black hair, approached us after being there an entire hour saying that we, the parents, were required to buy the socks for “insurance purposes”. Bogus; how when we signed a waiver?? Signing waiver relinquishes them from being sued for any hurt that could ensue resulting in legal action. We were both already wearing socks. There’s a sign that said, if I recall correctly; No Socks, No Wristband, No Entry. When I asked to see the policy that stated Dino socks needed to be purchased for insurance purposes, I was directed to the sign in the play area. When I asked to clarify, she threw it all off on “owners son” who NEVER said a word. A young black girl came over & tried to help but quite literally no one else cared about us attempting to support this business & have our littles enjoy themselves, all because of greed to purchase socks that’ll be forgotten or misplaced before next visit. I digress, but if it were my parents establishment, I would’ve been more communicative & hospitable; he grabbed his phone, stared at it & then at my family off & on as we packed up our 3 littles to leave, as we felt we were not being treated with kindness or compassion. The young black girl came back & stated how much the socks were, which wasn’t even what we were quoted at POS, he told us it would be another almost $20 for my husband & I to have socks.
I really really liked this place & wanted to take my kids back. They’re homeschooled so we are always looking for fun things to do. Hence, why I asked if there was a membership of any sort for the price you pay upfront. Of course, there was none so you’re looking to spend (fam of 5) anywhere from $60-$100 each visit on entry & socks alone! There weren’t deals/incentives, nothing; for that price, we could go to all the trampoline parks/gyms in Nashville & surrounding areas!
I’d love to take littles back as place was nice & my littles loved it but need 1)friendly & knowledgeable staff 2)memberships for larger fams 3)to understand parents should NOT pay entry fees for themselves along w/ children that require parent presence
Chatted w/ other mom friends/large fams & they all agree this is a bit much. Fix this please! I took video/pics to share on social media our great experience & now I...
Read moreThis place is such an unorganized mess.
If I could give 0 stars I would! I had my sons 2nd birthday party here on 03/17 and spent nearly $800. The staff were not friendly and were so unorganized. The experience was horrible! The party host didn’t arrive till nearly a hour late! She rushed us in the room with an attitude and just dropped pizza on the plates.
The room we were put in was so small that all the party guest couldn’t even sit together. It was so tight in the room the kids didn’t have enough space to eat.
She told my other guest to sit out in the cafe area. Which was not close to my party area. I had to search for the host to get more drinks. They wanted us out of the room in 15 minutes because another party was booked right behind us or at our same time.
I told them I didn’t want to pay for the adult socks they would pay for their own and the lady still tried to charge me for them. I ask to see my sign in sheet and was told the manager took it. The manager didn’t step up to assist me with my party. Why would she have the sign in sheet.
They didn’t have the names on the black bend for my party guest so all of our things were scattered everywhere. I asked for them to put my name on the bend after an hour of being there. After our party was over they tried to give our gifts to another party. I had to stop the guys going down the hall because I seen our things being taken away. They asked was my party name Dallas when the bend clearly said Christian.
Now let’s talk about the 18% gratuity that I was not told about until the day before the party. The host did not deserve the 113.00 tip I had to pay. She was with us maybe 5 minutes to drop pizza on the plates and then went somewhere else to hid. Because we couldn’t even find her to refill the drinks.
Nobody deserved a tip and no one really gave a sincere apology for how things turned out. I told the lady at the check in counter how we were not given clear instructions on how the party was supposed to be held. I explained how they tried to give our gifts to someone else and that I wanted to see the check in list because they said I had 7 additional guest.
All she kept saying is this weekend is really busy but that’s not my problem when I’m spending $800. Especially when the party was supposed to be $359. Needless to say, I’ll NEVER go here again. This place may be good for playtime but it is definitely not good for birthday parties. The staff need to be trained because each and every one of them was horrible.
Update: My name was put on my bin by me because the staff did not do it. It was not my JOB to do that.
I did not come in the place ready to burn it down but again rude staff would respond this way. Their response tells it all.
I responded to all email between me and Rose K. That is how I ordered extra food. The other email with the example of how the party will be setup needed no response.
Again the staff at this place need serious training especially if they have to deal with people and children.
Also it is a violation of my privacy to add my first and last name to...
Read moreIt’s very apparent that this establishment is not fond of people of color (black & brown) unless leaving a 5 star review. I made a review a week ago, no reply…yet 5 star reviews made days ago were responded to. Even a 1 star with no description was responded to. My review was very thorough, no accountability is taken by this establishment while there or owners thereafter for their mistreatment, lack of knowledge/overcharging, etc.
If you read the responses from the owner on the less than 5 star reviews they did respond to, they’re very nice nasty and some even flat out rude! Absolutely disgusting for replies to sound as nasty as these people are in real life!!! Quite literally go thru these reviews and look at how nasty some of the responses are and decide if you want to support this business.
There’s a review about a brown child being hit in the face with a photo shown with a bruised face, no response! These people have no sympathy, professionalism and it’s clear all they care about is money and 5 star reviews. Not making it a place that’s safe, fun and conducive for everyone to come and enjoy for the price they charge. No responses for safety concerns of parents having to sit in waiting area while their small children play unattended, most probably cannot afford to pay admission for themselves and children, or find it silly to pay just to stand and supervise/oversee.
IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR or even a person who wants themselves and child(ren) to be treated with respect and dignity, save your money and your time. Support a place that will be empathetic and compassionate with your concerns and treatment. This is NOT the place for US!
My kids asked Monday and today to go back so I came to see if my last review had a response and it hadn’t but others written after mine had. Then I read other reviews and responses and am completely turned off. Again, the responses blew my mind; mouth literally wide open. I couldn’t believe what I was reading on some of these review responses.
To the owners/staff: You NEVER know who you’re treating/talking to poorly and it’s def something that can be improved by the owners and staff. One thing Nashville does is ban together and we do not tolerate this low vibrational energy where our kids are concerned; as there are MANY places to take our children for an overall pleasurable experience for a fraction of the price. I plan to tell everyone I know that this place is garbage and direct them to read all of the reviews before supporting this establishment.
I wished I could leave zero stars. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. Overpriced. Rude staff/owner. Liars. Thieves. I give them another year or less if no improvements are made. By then nobody will even care and there will be something just as nice with all the things that keep people and families continued support...
