Tuesday night was the last time Iāll ever step foot in this Twin Peaks location. First, my husband & I requested to sit with one of the girls we normally do and was told by the hostess she was fired? Are other employees even allowed to disclose that to customers? Anyways it was shocking to me because she was still very new but she was the server for me & my husband during our first ever visit to the restaurant which also happened to be her first day as well. She was very sweet, had great recommendations for food (She wasnāt too keen on the drink menu yet but I donāt blame her, itās a lot to remember) and her service felt very genuine. Now the other girl we got on Tuesday night, she was the exact opposite. She was very distracted and didnāt interact with us or really any of the other tables she had other than to take their order and give them the bill.. But aside from that the overall staff diversity seemed extremely low that night. Which I understand management can only do so much about who decides to come in & apply but for me personally it rubbed me the wrong way when my husband & I started having a conversation with the table next to us, who had been seated before we were, and he ended up telling us that they fired FOUR other girls as well, and 1 of the 4 girls had actually come in, dressed, ready to work on her FIRST DAY and got fired before she could even start? Does that make any sense? What could she possibly had done before her first day that warranted her losing her job? And why not tell her before she even walks in the building? The part that broke my heart the most was that she told the guy it was her ādream jobā Now my husband asked him how many of the girls that got fired were black just out of curiosity.. he said only 1 of the girls wasnāt. This also upset me because I worked for Hooters (Similar restaurant concept) back in the late 90s/early 2000s and what Twin Peaks is doing seems to be very on brand with that what would go on 25 YEARS AGO, thatās older that a lot of the girls working in that building. Aside from racial diversity thereās almost no diversity in body type either. What I liked most about our original server was that she was the only tall, petite, black girl working there and she just reminded me of myself when I was her age. I understand not everyone is going to have a āmodelā body but iāve just seen so many girls spilling out of their uniforms which IMO isnāt a good look. Our original server also didnāt have much cleavage which it didnāt seem like other customers minded and me & my husband certainly didnāt because she still looked damn good and was among one of the better looking girls there anyway. Anyways with all that said, Twin Peaks management as a whole needs to do better & treat these girls a lot better as well. Itās really the least you can do they only get $2/hr. Finishing this off, I have contacted customer service by email (no response) and have tried to get in contact with the general manager from this location and havenāt been able to speak with him about this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat an actual lazy experience. I donāt need a show I just need good service. This place went downhill from the moment I saw the host on her phone. Maybe get off that and pay attention to everyone walking in. Itās an easy sign to show you care. Had it not been later this evening I would have left.
This place has not one ounce of teamwork. Food was piled up in the food window with no one running it. The manager was literally sitting on his butt not doing one thing to help a single girl out in there. Just talking to some other guy not caring about the chaos in the restaurant. I do feel bad for the lack of management and Leadership for the girls. Again get off your phone and pay attention to your staff and customers.
Our apps started off taking 40 Minutes and of course they came out cold. I even mentioned it to our server. Was there an apology? No? Just a blank stare.
As far as our server. Nataliaā thanks for not asking everyone what they needed. The lack of refills or another beer was beneficial for absolutely no one. She came to our table maybe two times. Hate to say it but thatās what makes you money. Bad night or not with another table truthfully not my problem. I sound like an absolute rude person but let me tell ya. You made our dinner the most prolonged meal for my Birthday that no one wanted to be at anymore.
So if you want cold food, bad service, and no beer and ranch at all then this is the place for you. If not try literally anything else.
And sorry to be so hateful but literally get off yāallās phones and start working and enjoying guest or work....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame in yesterday to have a drink with my dad. I live downtown and he is in Hermitage so I thought this would be a great place to meet in the middle. My favorite server, Shaee, wasn't working so we decided to sit at the bar. A guy who seemingly was on some sort of heavier drugs sat next to me and my father and made not only us, but several other people at the bar uncomfortable. I watched him pound four jack and cokes in a matter of 45 mins and he was making jerking type motions and movements while invasively trying to get attention from us and others around the bar. I moved seats to the other side of my dad to give the guy a hint and he still proceeded to move down toward my father to converse. After a failed attempt to be polite and let the guy know that we weren't interested in conversation, we decided to move to the end of the bar. He still proceeded to stare at us the entire time while sitting and also watched my every move on the way to the bathroom. Because I no longer felt safe around the guy, I notified the manager & she did absolutely nothing. I understand Twin Peaks culture- I used to be a hooters girl myself, however, this guy was a huge liability to womenās safety. I will still continue to come and see Shae from time to time, since she is such a great server, but will not come back otherwise. It should never be another guest's (people I didn't know) or my father's responsibility to watch out for my safety...
