Posh Salon & Glam Studio — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

I have struggled for years to find the right fit for my daughter's silk out, cuts, and styles. Many salons we went to had her in and out in 30-35 minutes, and the style was gone within a few hours. Others were filthy, late, or no-shows. The Heavens opened recently and a friend introduced me to Aignes and her Posh Glam Studio.

First, let's just talk about personality and kindness. I dare you to find a kinder, more exuberant artist than Aignes. She makes my daughter feel seen, adored, and celebrated. When we finished her first visit, my daughter said, "I love her. She's so easy to talk to." Keep in mind, this is coming from my often-Eeyore child who find little good in most things. When you're around Aignes, you can't help but smile!

Second, the studio is spotless, well-designed, and mirrors what you'd expect in the nicest areas of the biggest cities. It's a corner shop, so you get tons of light on two sides and a very comfortable spot to hang out in the lobby. Parking is plenty and super convenient.

Finally, the service you receive is flawless. As mentioned before, we've struggled. After my daughter's visit, her hair was vibrant and perfect. When Aignes "seemed" to be finished, she went in for another layer of refining to make sure that the "perfect" went to another level.

I had an appointment set up at this salon at 4:00 p.m. on a Wednesday afternoon (8/15/2018), so I left work downtown and drove 25 minutes to get there only to find that the salon was closed. No employees were there, the lights were all off, and it looked like it was closed for a bit because there was even a UPS "Sorry we missed you" tag on the door. I arrived a little early at around 3:50 p.m. so I sat and waited till around 4:10 to try to find the stylist on Facebook that I was suppose to have an appointment with so that I could reach out. I messaged her only to receive a response back that she left this particular salon the day before. I received no phone call, email, and/or text letting me know of this prior to me arriving at this salon. All I received the day before was an email asking to confirm I was still "showing up". Well I showed and no one else did.

Not only was and is it frustrating due to wasting my time but now I have to wait an amount of time again before I can get on someone's schedule to get my hair done. I will never book here again and will be sure to express my experience with anyone that asks/tells me...

I used Posh Glam Studio for my brother’s out-of-town wedding in Nashville. I found them via an Instagram search. They did hair and makeup for my mother, my sister, and myself at our hotel. I am very, very picky, and they not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Aignes Rogan did makeup, and another individual did hair. They were both the sweetest, and SO easy to talk to. The makeup was PERFECTION, and lasted the entire day. I didn’t want to take it off! They also did a wonderful job on the hair. They did such a good job that my mother now wants them as her go-to hair and makeup artists, lol. Even my dad was raving about what a good job they did! Towards the end of hair and makeup, two of my aunts came in and asked for impromptu services. Even though Aignes had plans, she obliged, and was so kind.
