Please do yourself a favor and don’t buy from here. I bought from them in November 2020, and was told 6-8 weeks for delivery. I didn’t get my furniture until may 2021 with very little apology or concessions from the store. In fact when I would call to check on it the receptionist acted like it was a huge inconvenience to check for me. The furniture was very $$$$ and in 1.5 years of owning it every piece of my furniture is broken somehow, USB ports not working, broken latches, chair that won’t open or close properly. The manager of the store at least apologized and refunded the astronomical delivery fee during the delivery debacle. I will never buy from here again, I hope I spared you.
Update. 5/9/2024 finally filed a warranty claim on my defective furniture, it took forever. The set has been discontinued and therefore I cannot get a replacement… the amount of credit they are offering won’t buy anything comparable, the cash settlement is pennies. The worst part is the staff from the store kept assuring me that it would be made right and it isn’t. Don’t trust them. They offer smooth talking and promises they cannot deliver on. Havertys needs to do right by customers if they sell them...
Read moreWe decided to buy locally. So off to Havertys we went. Jack and Dave were very informative, they had what we needed and placed an order. We took the afternoon off and waited on the delivery. I ended up calling to see where they were. Two men showed up 2 hours later than stated. The men were mad at each other. They did not introduce themselves, one did not wear shoe covers, but walked through our house then took off his boots before entering our bedroom. You could cut the tension with a knife. Our bed had to be taken apart. My husband had to help put it back, the one fellow was not trying to put it back the right way. Then this same fellow left and left my husband and the other deliverer to replace the mattress back on the bed. My husband is a heart patient. The delivery was a mess. Next time back to Sprintz I go. Read moreWe bought a kitchen table and chairs from Haverty's and the quality of the furniture is very poor. Two chairs have already broken within the span of less than two years (not due to any particular stress, just from sitting in the chairs). For the hefty prices they charge, it doesn't make sense to have such poor quality furniture. The only reason they get two stars is because I've only had nice interactions with the people in the store and their customer service over the phone. However, you are still made to "jump through hoops" (likely placed by their corporate office) in order to get replacements for broken furniture or get a refund. Save your money for a store that has better quality pieces. Also, save yourself a headache of having to replace those pieces due to purchasing furniture...
