The Elderberry Co — Attraction in New Albany

To start off, I want to say 5 STARS isn't enough for this business. I saw this company's mission statement online somewhere and was impressed enough to search them out and finally visited yesterday. At first glance from the outside, I could tell this was a high-class establishment. When I came through the door I was even MORE impressed by the fragrance that wafted throughout the shop. I asked what the smell was and was told it was elderberry. Haha. Of course it was. I didn't know elderberry had such an awesome aroma. It appears that the owners cut no corners in building out this space. It is beautiful and impeccably clean. The products are displayed in such a way that several customers can find the same products from different areas as to not be crowded at one shelf. The processing area is visible through some windows and it also looks immaculate. The products are second to none. As I do with most restaurants, stores and shops, I try to purchase a little more than I need to have enough to give an informative review. On this visit, which was the first for my wife and I, we bought the following products: 32 oz Elderberry Syrup to last US a couple weeks. 2 lb bottle of local honey which my wife uses daily with ACV. 8 oz Orange Infused Honey because I like all things orange. I would have bought a larger bottle if they had it, but perhaps it is best to buy smaller portions due to being infused with something. 60 count bottle of Extra strength Elderberry Gummies for our daughter who lives on her own. 90 count bottle of Extra Strength Elderberry Gummies for our other daughter who has a husband and 4 children. I am sure those gummies will be gone QUICK. The store had a free sample which my wife and I tried and they were delicious. I sampled the honey and elderberry syrup today and they were both exquisite in flavor and consistency. We have tried elderberry syrup before and regularly purchase LOCAL honey from different stores, but I believe we found the BEST of both at the Elderberry Company. Yesterday, besides the free elderberry gummy sample, there was 10% off on bottles of blue elderberry gummies and a free Mason jar of Immunity Tea if you purchase at least $20 of items. THAT tea was one of the most amazing beverages I ever tasted. I was just sorry I had to share one jar with my wife. If I knew it was THAT delicious I would have purchased another jar. Now I want to buy it by the gallon. The owners are extraordinary. They will return your messages very quickly. I am just impressed in all aspects with the Elderberry Company and trust I am a life-long customer. I look forward to trying some other items they sell and sure we will be buying our honey and elderberry exclusively from them. Lastly, all my fellow Veterans need to know they support us with a 10% discount and have a Marine in their family. I think we should support them...

Hi Elderberry Company! Great product, and I don't give out praise lightly. I guess I have an Elderberry-connection story to relay. As a retired nurse/patient care advocate, I understand science and testing results--even when I don't mean to. A couple of days before Christmas, our daughter-in-law, Amanda Merk gave us some of your tea as a present. We went on vacation two days later, I left the tea at home. While in Florida, Mark came down with influenza. We took him to the doctor and treated him medically. When we arrived home ten days later, he was still sick. I went back to work and everyone in our department had variations of the same illness. That is when I became ill too. The doc at the clinic told me to treat symptoms with over-the-counters. But I took your tea along with it. I was well in 5 days. Great science experiment, right? Wait, the story gets better... I stopped taking the tea. After a few weeks, I felt much worse. I couldn't breathe and digest food at the same time. Thinking I was headed into walking pneumonia, I went to my physician. I do not usually leave reviews, and am more often than not, sceptical reading the ones that do. That being said, if you are not sure whether or not to try The Elderberry Company's Syrup(s), (or tea) OR if you are currently purchasing it from another company, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to STOP whatever you are doing, go online and order this Elderberry Syrup. I really had no expectations when I bought this, but when I 1st tasted it I was pleasantly surprised. By the 3rd taste I knew I was hooked. You can honestly taste how fresh the ingredients are. There is the perfect amount of everything. I wasn't sure if it would actually keep me from getting sick when everyone around us is, but whether it is just coincidence or not, I have avoided every sniffle and cough since I started taking this. The truest of testimonies is the fact that my husband, (who has very little belief in medicinal plants) now swears by it and takes it every day. He started feeling congested and upped his dose of Elderberry syrup to 3 times a day, and after the 2nd day he was fine. We are on our 3rd month with this, and will continue to buy it. I just bought a jar for my very picky, Vegan, holistic, and all things organic daughter, and she absolutely loves it. I honestly do tell everyone to please at least give it a try.
