I was so excited to visit here after reading how awesome the shop was and how friendly the staff is! Sadly, my experience was not so good. I visited on the first Saturday in March and my friend and I were completely let down by the way we were ignored when we were the only people in the shop. Upon entry, the sales associate was having a conversation with a friend about concerts, and other miscellaneous stuff. We shopped and looked around the store. We went upstairs, and found some stuff that we were debating purchasing, and then went downstairs, to unoccupied (by customers) store. He said that he made a point of looking at her to see if she would acknowledge us, and she did not speak. I walked up to look at some jewelry, while she was behind the counter(which I was considering buying), only to be ignored. The front door opened, and another customer came in, whom was immediately greeted. I would have thought that this is because we were middle aged, but the person coming in was also of the same age range. Honestly, Iām a little saddened, because that is the kind of store that I would buy unnecessary clutter from, the kind of kitsch that I like, but being purposely ignored reinforced the unfortunate thought that my kind is not welcome there. The store is actually pretty neat, although they couldāve worked on their organization and merchandising upstairs, hence the two...

Bad: tiny shop; may only take a few minutes to go through, and because itās popular, it can be awkwardly hard to move around other folks
The size of this shop is the only caveat. Itās about the size of a large, but single booth at an antique mall. We need more Odd Shop, please! Typically, I wouldnāt recommend such a small shop as a destination, but because itās such a groovy shop, I would personally visit the area just for this shop. Combine it with other antique shops in thriving downtown New Albany, and it makes for a...

The most logical thing would have been to post on your SOCIAL MEDIA accounts if you have to close early instead of putting a piece of paper on your door. If your customers have to drive a hour to read that piece of paper then that is obviously not effective and it shows that your customers' time is not important to you. You posted on Instagram earlier in the day so you clearly know...
