Don't waste your money. I'm sure several of these reviews were done for the free shot glass that was promised.
My friends and I attended a Saturday show recently, and we were all disappointed. I do confess that I didn't research them prior to getting tickets. Hence, why I like to do and read reviews. They help people decide if something or an experience is worth the money. This is NOT worth the money. It's not a dinner theater per se. It's more like an interactive mystery game along with the others in the room.
The food was fine. There's a seafood option, chicken or pasta. Our table felt crowded, and our waitress was a little curt. I wouldn't say the meal was worth half the ticket though.
At the end, there's a prize for whomever correctly guesses who the murderer is. Unbeknownst to us, it only goes to one person even if multiple people pick correctly. My bestie picked the correct murderer and when she asked about a prize she was told that she didn't give enough information about the murderer. That's silly and unnecessary. She picked the right person. Perhaps the prize is something that can't be split. No clue as they didn't explain that part.
Parking is not included. There were no signs inside the Omni Hotel to let us know where to go so we stopped at the front desk. Limited bar.
If I consider a dinner theater event again, I'll do my...
Read moreCompletely disorganized. It says to show up 15 minutes before the show starts. The doors didn’t open until 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. Our table was over seated when we arrived. We let the organizer know right away. We had to wait until everyone was seated then our issue was handled. Our group of 6 stood and waited while everyone was starting on salad and appetizers. Once we were seated the servers came around and asked what we were having for our entrees even though we have color coded tickets in front of us. 2 out of the 11 people at my table received no food at all, and waited well over 45 minutes after everyone else was finished to finally get their plates. The food was ok. For the price of admission I expected much higher quality. It’s a Cash only cash bar. $8-$10 a beer, mixed drinks and wine were $12 each. That’s on top of the $100 ticket. The show portion was fine. It’s goofy. The actors do a pretty good job of being entertaining. We all felt it ran a little long. For $100 a ticket I expected a lot more. It’s drastically overpriced. It was a $20 dinner...
Read moreThe location is a bland bare room inside a gorgeous hotel. It's uneventful, boring and very easy to remember just how much each ticket was. The "show" it's self was okay. It was hard to hear and impossible for most to see what was going on. Cutesy humor and they engage with at every table at least once.
Cons: room was bland, undecorated, no props or anything to set the scene or mood. The drinks were top shelf prices, and unfortunately when the bartender made them more of it ended up on the bar then into the glass. The food was not worth 1/4 of the ticket price. Pasta and chicken were both so dry with limited flavor. The awkwardness of how tight the room was with 90 people, and not having any direction or idea what was going on for nearly an hour.
Pros: different idea for date night or girls night out.
If they moved hotels to more budget friendly they could make it way better and still not cut into their profits too much. (Ie: cocktail hour in a mingle lounge instead of the awkward cramped hour in a tiny bright...
