Mystic Barrels — Attraction in New Kensington

The table is great and I would have given 5 stars but the delivery driver was incompetent and had a nasty attitude. I just moved into an apartment complex and the driver was having trouble finding the place and complaining that the gps led him to the wrong address asking me how he is supposed to find the place when the gps is wrong. If pizza delivery drivers can find my place than any one with a little bit of brain power should be able to find it. Not to mention the fact that he insulted me, not once, but twice, for not knowing what building number I lived in after I already explained to him that I just moved in. I didn't really mind that I had to help him carry it up the stairs but he acted like I was obligated to help him after he had such a rough time finding the place. If he doesn't have the basic directional skills to find an address without me going out to look for him maybe he should find another job. But the table is nice though and I am happy with it. Just not happy I had to deal with that rather unpleasant experience at 10 o clock at night when I should be sleeping.

Edit: Mystic Barrels called me to apologize the next day and asked if there was anything they could do. It was a really awkward phone call that I could have done without. It's not like they can do anything for me within reasonable request so what am i supposed to say. But at least he apologized for the inonvenience. I would have rather the driver apologized himself but it is what it is.

I have always wanted a bourbon barrel and this was spot on, my wife got it for me for Xmas and I can't tell you how happy we are. If you are getting the bourbon barrel as a table I would definitely get the foot rails, it was unclear to me in the picture but the foot rails are more of a stand that the barrel sits in with the rails attached to the stand, it's really clever and raises the barrel about 6 inches off of the floor. Also I didn't realize that there were lights in the Barrel, these lights are motion activated and light up when you move the Lazy Susan. The delivery was really good also, when they say white glove, they mean white glove, the delivery man showed up when he said he would and placed the barrel right where I wanted. Finally, I noticed many reviews saying mike kept you updated on progress, he really did and it wasn't him responding quickly to my questions but rather he proactively emailed me and kept me up to date. 100%...

After a complete basement remodel, we were looking for a theme. Being bourbon lovers and returning from a recent bourbon trail trip, we decided to check out Mystic Barrels. They were the perfect accompaniment to our decor and a great conversational piece. We started with the barrel table but soon added additional touches including the half barrel cocktail table, coasters, and glass staves. The customer barrelhead was perfect for an empty space on our wall. Mike provided next level customer service when there was a delivery glitch (not his fault), instantly engaged to ensure we straightened it out. My wife is a pretty tough customer, but even she jumped on board in picking the cocktail table. You could probably get cheaper barrels, but really is that what you want?
