Beautiful church, perhaps even more so than the Cathedral. The statue of the Blessed Mother above and behind the main altar is stunning. The blend of architectural styles is quite unique and beautiful. We were there for the Saturday Vigil Mass (4:00) and got there early. At 3:15 there was a tour (about 30 minutes) that was quite informative. I was surprised to notice that the Stations of the Cross are not found in the traditional way, but present above the windows. The windows too, tell the stories of various Jesuit saints, as the parish is run by them (and has been for quite sometime). I can't remember if it was Google Maps, Facebook or elsewhere, but I see that I can actually go inside a church whose exterior has intrigued me for quite some time. Feels wrong judging a church in a star system, since Jesus is sacramentally present in all Catholic Churches, but Immaculate Conception is one of my favorites in architecture, design, and presiders.
