My stay was great at this Hilton hotel! It was a solo weekend trip but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The room was nice and clean, but were there things I saw that weren't "perfect" to some who love to complain about everything? Yes. But is it so serious? No. It was just maybe older or peeled cabinets and pillows were nice but would get firm throughout the night (that may be a plus to some). I wasn't there to be speculating the entire room for every flaw like some do, so they can complain about it to staff or on a review. For me it was clean, comfortable and perfect for it's intended use. As far as location, amazing! I was able to walk everywhere, no problem! Aside from that, I want to shout out 2 amazing employees who made an impression on me during my stay. First, it was Warren during check in and even throughout my time there. He was very professional, helpful and kind, it was always a delight to run into him. Second, the one who I believe I will never forget is Quinton (forgive my possible misspelling lol), he is the maintenance personnel here, and Mr. Quinton was so kind to help me on my first night with a concern of mine and he is one who was great to have conversation with in passing. There was a situation where he stepped in and made sure I was ok and that was very impressionable as a person and as an employee representing the Hilton brand. Even though I may not have had maintenance issues, Mr. Quinton is a staple to this Hilton hotel and his character is irreplaceable. Oh and I don't want to forget 3 other employees that I had brief interactions with but were also very helpful and provided great service to me and helped my stay and experience here as well be great. Melvin, Kendrick and I apologize, I didn't get her name, but the nice lady that usually works 3-11pm. =) Overall, my time was short but it was very sweet due to these individuals and the comfy room I had (1613), which attached are two photos of my view. Hopefully everyone that comes to this hotel has the same or even better experience that I did. =)

The rooms are average. We had an issue with our tub - the water wouldn't turn off, and our toilet sounded like a locomotive whistle and ran a long time each time you flushed the toilet. The maintenance was quick to respond and repair once we reported it. The shampoo on the wall was empty, and that was very inconvenient as I was standing there in the shower needing it in the moment. :) Made a mental note to start checking them before I get into the shower.

The location is great for our family. We had several rooms since this was the kickoff to a family vacation. It's a rather quiet hotel away from the action but within walking distance of some great restaurants and attractions.

We used the pool area. I had to request towels. They were empty. The area wasn't as nice as it has been in the past when we have stayed here. Cushions were stained, some debris was in pool (we cleaned it out), the atmosphere was, ehhhh, at best. It definitely needs to be freshened up and better maintained.

Check-in was fine - actually, I remembered the gentleman who checked from our visit last year.

My 20 something year old son and his girlfriend had a surprise when he woke up a little after 10 p.m. with someone in their bathroom. When he confronted them, it was a maintenance person saying they were fixing the sink. He told them to get out and that he didn't have a problem with his sink. When he called the front desk to ensure it really was someone from the hotel, they said it was but had a laissez-faire reaction to the situation. Though he had the do not disturb hanger on his door, he didn't have the deadbolt or other lock engaged. That's been addressed with my kid. I mentioned the situation at check out, and it didn't seem to matter to them either. Very uncomfortable encounter in their room that should not have happened.

Checkout was long. I arrived at the desk, and there was a sign saying they were helping another guest and apologized for the inconvenience. 10 minutes later, I'm still waiting, and a gentleman who appears to be just arriving for his shift helped. He shared that he was over the housekeeping crew. Very nice and helpful. We had multiple rooms, and he was patient while we checked out and reviewed our statements to ensure we weren't charged for parking since it was included in our rate. He helped correct two of the bills.

Overall, the stay was OK. I've been very vocal about recommending this hotel, I'll probably shy away from that...

Front desk staff were friendly and nice to everyone while I was there checking in. We had a spacious king bed room, which was nice. The view from this "auto-selected" room, was much better than one I almost chose on my own. The Digital Key service didn't work all that well. It worked 25% when I was next to the elevator. It never worked for the door. It had a notice that I could use the app to connect to the room and control several features. Things like the TV, lights, temperature...it never worked. Tried asking the lady who called to check in with us...she said that service just might not be available. I tried to uninstall the app and reboot phone. Nope, didn't help the room connection, nor door lock.

The first lady from housekeeping was awesome. She gave us some fresh towels and an extra shampoo. The next lady must have been on her first day and didn't speak any English nor understand that we asked her to wait 5 minutes. She tried giving me a new make-up remover packet. When said no, i didnt need it, please wait 5 minutes, she tried handing me a box of tissue. I felt sorry for her. My wife (English is her second language) tied to figure what language she could speak and got nowhere. Finally, i pointed, and tapped my wrist and gestured 5 with my fingers. I think she understood. She did a great job making the bed and that was all. The coffee cups were not replenished and neither was the coffee. The wrappers were still on the counter. She did not take the $2 we left out. She did take away most towels leaving only an original hand towel and three of the four bath towels we had. We did not complain, nor ask for more stuff. We just made do with what we had. Our bath towels were just fine and we made the best of it.

The Breakfast room attendants were so nice and friendly, i wondered why. I later understood it was because it was a pay service. They even charged for a bagel we didn't ask for nor ate. The lady brought it to my wife and said she had to pull it out from the machine cause it was smelling like it was burning. We had no clue what it was about. The prices they charged were very reasonable and I didn't bother to go back and ask for $2.50 refund for the bagel we...
