Yes, must agree that the shop has beautiful hand made masks, very pricey but can be expected given they’re hand made by the owner Hafi, and I believe in supporting local artists. However, the shop also sells retail masks that are not made by the owner, a nice selection of these nicely displayed…but buyer beware. I purchased one of these retail masks for $120 but found them in other shops later on ranging from $44 to $60. Shop around first, because there’s no returns, no exchanges, and no refunds from this store.

Such a beautiful diverse selection of masks from hand-made by the owner to imported from Italy to Steampunk to Day of the Dead ranging from inexpensive to expensive. The store owner was super kind and helpful and had plenty of information about each mask. The hand-made jewelry was also gorgeous!!! Would highly recommend walking into this store!

I loved this store! Afsaneh is the shop owner and she was so lovely and kind. Everything is stunning! The masks are handmade and they all have very beautiful designs and distinct influences. I bought two masks, and I couldn’t be happier. Check this shop out in NOLA : )

Afsaneh is all heart, art, and quality, quality, quality, with excellent taste. We passed many shops with masks, none were like Afsaneh’s shop. She oriented us to her shop. Some masks she had made herself. The ones she imported from Italy, China, and other cultures. She also had beautiful Persian antiques and Masks with Persian influence. All feathers were real feathers. Her masks are beautiful works of art to hang or to wear for a festival like Mardis Gras. We enjoyed Afsaneh company very much she knows how to connect with her customers from the heart. We ended up going twice to her shop for masks and dolls. We traveled back home feeling confident we purchased masks we love made with love picked with love from the highest quality. Thank...

I found this shop by chance after visiting Earth Odessy (for crystals) and Mena's Palace (for incredible food). Both stores 5 stars. There is a great selection of masks with some hand painted by the owner apparently. There are some vintage and older masks and some ceramic (not porcelain, but no claims are made that they are porcelain). However there are factory produced masks which I paid $65 for. But I found the exact same mask on Royal Street for $39.99. The owner and website clearly state that all budgets are catered for and they are. But I would still advise caution and shopping around as this shop offers no refunds or exchanges. Where I come from, this is a breach of consumer rights. But this is clearly not the case in...
