Bamford Wellness Spa — Attraction in New York

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! I booked a 1 hour and 20 min treatment, I was running late because I had an emergency and called to let them know. They said it would cut into my treatment time (though it doesn’t say that ANYWHERE that they don’t have any grace period) since it was still on me I said that’s fine.

I got there 12 min late. so you’d think that i would have an hour and 8 min of treatment right? Nope. My treatment was less than 40 min because they start the treatment the second you walk in the door. So my treatment lasted included a locker tutorial, tour, me getting into my robe, and for the therapist to set up.

When I brought this up to the front desk person she said that they couldn’t do anything because they were closing.

Why did you have that time slot available to book if you weren’t going to give me the treatment I paid for??? Like i said it’s ridiculous that you have 0 grace period but i accepted it and i still didn’t even remotely get what i paid for. i booked this massage to help with recovery from an injury, and the massage therapist didn’t even ask what I wanted to work on

To be honest, the massage therapist was nice but the massage that i did get was average at best.

I’d recommend going anywhere but here. This place is over priced and they are not...

Although the massage itself was great, upon our arrival there were no lockers available. We were told to put our items in a paper bag and that they would be taken to the mens locker room. Luckily there was someone leaving and although the person Check-in us in knew it, she did not offer us the key. I had to ask the guest for the key. Upon finishing the massage, there was no tea available, the spa had run out of tea for the day at 6:00pm. That along with the fact that the only snacks provided were very high in sugar snacks such as cranberry’s, chocolate and dried bananas was a big miss. The tea usually complements your massage and not having any on such a cold day simply degraded the experience. Not having any salty snacks did too. None of it acceptable for a spa located in a luxury hotel. Also, the sauna was out of service for the day and although the staff was very pleasant, the many flaws of the day simply downgraded the experience, we left unhappy with the overall experience seeking for...

My visit of Bamford SPA was an absolute bliss. From delicatly scented rest area to very friendly staff, everything was superb. What made my visit really special is my facial with Karina.

Karina is very friendly and her expertise in skincare is impressive. We started the facial with consultation, we talked about my concerns and my desirable results. During the facial she was explaining to me what products were used (the texture and the scent of the beauty products were amazing) and how it helps to improve my skin.

The entire treatment was very relaxing, because Karina has very soft and delicate touch. And the results… My skin looked healthy, rejuvenated and radiant!!!

I can’t thank Karina enough for making me look more beautiful! Thank you so very much! I would highly recommend Karina for those who choose top-notch experts in skincare and who appreciate high quality beauty products!
