Baruch Playground — Attraction in New York

Baruch playground or as the regulars call it, "The Big Park", has been around since the start of Baruch, we used to have an indoor swimming pool at it's adjoining park located at what is now an abandoned building known as the White House, This white house was what the boys club became , it had homework classes, padded rooms for jumping around and doing all kind of gymnastics, we had all the proper equipment from weights to official gymnastic equipment,even a boxing ring complete with a bell and ref. Also a full on basketball court, and in the basement was the Olympic size swimming pool starting at 3feet and going in a slope to 16 feet . That building along with other white houses located throughout the 5 boroughs we're all in parks such as the one located in the back of the house. Bard High School uses the baseball field when its opened,and for running, seeing that Major league baseball donated the Astro turf for the field we have history here people. I would give it a higher rating, but Bard High School Early College, at 525 E Houston St, New York, NY 10002. Locks the entrance to the park so that their students can hang out there. Even though it's a public park, and they don't...

The turf is in pretty rough shape if you're playing football/soccer. There are patches of turf flopping around, along with divits/holes scattered in a few places around the field. Not the absolute worst place to play, but watch out...
