Luther Gulick Park — Attraction in New York

It's a beautiful park. Just to warn people that they do lock the gate when it's closing time. Leave right away because you might get locked in. The person who did the closing today around 6 pm just announced it but didn't make sure there were no more people in the park. The website said this park closed at 10 pm. My kids and I got locked in. It was only 6 pm. There are 3 entrances to the park. We were about to exit closer to the swing area, but it was locked. We went to another gate further down, again locked. That guy didn't wait for us to leave the park. I called 311 and filed a complaint. This is not the first time they did that. I spoke with some people outside the gate and told me they got locked...

The most unreliable park when it comes to the sprinklers in the summer. Walked by at noon and noticed it was on so we ran home to change which is 5 minutes away. I come back and the water is off! There are rumors that new employees of the park that have the water key use it at their disposal. ( they turn the water when they want to especially if they have their own kids) Half the kids running around playing in swim wear because they assumed the water would be on too. After the reconstruction of this park it has become our go to park. It’s absolutely wonderful and the kids have so much fun here. It’s great for many ages. The floor is padded so less boo boos for the little ones. My 4 year old grandson loves it so much. Gets a little crowded after school let’s out because it’s the best park...
