Bath & Body Works — Attraction in New York

This company, Lashersip, was supposed to deliver a package from Bath and Body Works but it was never delivered. The driver had the audacity to mark it as delivered when he/she never did. I have cameras in my home and never did anyone stop by. I was also on my stopp at the time they claimed my package was delivered and didn’t see anyone. I contacted customer care and told them that I suspected that the driver stole my package and they said that based on their investigation (which took like 1 min) they could not located my package and that I needed to contact the seller.

I contacted Bath and Body works and their help was limited. They could not fulfill my original order since certain items were not allowed to be picked up in store (even though the store has the items in stock). It’s unbelievable that a customer care agent cannot bypass that! I originally purchased 10 -3 wick candles and ended up placing an order for in store pick up of Candles I did not want. These candles were supposed to be a Christmas gift for my daughter. I had ordered her favorite candles and now she’ll end up with Candles that she might or might not like. I am highly dissatisfied with how Bath and Body Works handled this issue. They offered to re-send my original items but I would get them until Feb. And they said they would be using the same shipping company. As you may understand, for me the pick up option was the best option. Even if it meant getting Candles I did not want.

This will be my first and last time ever placing an online order from Bath and Body Works.

100% heart broken and...

While spending $75 on candles, they wouldn't let me return or replace a defective candle, and even went as far as to suggest it was maybe my fault for burning it wrong. How do you burn a candle wrong? I lit it the way everyone has lit candles since the dawn of fire, and it stopped burning and starting pooling wax an angle to bury the wick which was probably simply installed at the wrong angle. Just refund me the $14 for the love of Christmas -- you're going to die someday and you're defending this company for minimum wage? I've worked tons of retail, it's easy to honor a customer who is obviously not trying to do you dirty. I promise you're only hurting your store numbers in the long run and I hope every employee quits and gets any other job in the universe except customer service. Otherwise the candles smell...

The store is very neat and is always fully stocked. The sales have been plentiful as of late and quality is excellent. I mainly shop at this store for hand soaps and body lotion but this year I tried their shower gels and candles and am very happy. Aot of their 2 fragrant candles come in 2 variants with one scent being stronger then the other in one candle and then vice versa in the other, I really like that. The employees are also really nice and always willing to help. My only 'complaint' is that I wish they sold large candles. The biggest is 14.5oz and while good and well priced(when on sale) it be nice to see bigger candles like a certain other candle company sells. I also wished this location stayed opened passed 8pm, 9pm would be good. Other than that, no...
