Mr Sushi Japanese restaurant (Ridgewood) — Restaurant in New York

So many things went wrong here. I placed an order on Uber Eats and firstly, our food took two hours to arrive. Once it had been an hour I called the restaurant and they told me that the food was ready and they were just waiting for it to be picked up. It was a stormy night so their courier was moving slower than usual which I was very understanding of. After 40 more minutes of waiting I called back again, because I was getting worried about the sushi sitting out for so long without being delivered at that point. It came about 10 minutes later. I am gluten free and usually have no issue knowing what on a menu would and wouldn’t be gluten free, especially with sushi. We chose rolls that didn’t say tempura, etc, and yet 4/5 rolls we ordered had some sort batter, tempura, or crunch, which was not disclosed on the menu at all. So I ended up waiting 2 hours for food that I couldn’t eat most of. However this story somehow gets worse: my allergy saved me because not even 2 hours after eating, BOTH of the people who ate the sushi threw up and still feel very sick. I don’t know if this was a result of the slow delivery time or what, but I will absolutely not be ordering from here again. Great food. Sushi is very good and fresh. Customer service is very good here. The prices are fair. Lunch special is a good deal. Mr sushi Japanese restaurant is a place I would highly recommend. Good place to sit down. Restaurant looks beautiful. This place just opened up and everything looks brand new. Owners are nice and welcoming. Staff is very friendly and professional. If you pay cash for takeout they will give a discount of 5 percent upon request. I love the spicy salmon roll it's delicious. The presentation is beautiful the sushi looks very yummy. After a few times I realized this place is awesome and it's my favorite sushi place. When you sit down to eat you are greeted and treated very nicely. The lady's that serve are very nice and attentive. The tables are nice and neat. They offer hand sanitizer at every table. The restroom is very clean and tidy. I love how clean it is. I noticed you guys responded to me , the issue was not Uber Eats! The issue was you gave the Uber driver a bag with my name on it with someone else’s food ! And than acted/ pretended that no one ever came !!! Although the Uber driver came to my house with the wrong food , than told me you would bring the food and than lied again and said no - please !

Unbelievable! I ordered on Uber Eats and this had to be the most ridiculous experience I’ve ever had. The Uber driver brought over the wrong bag but was really nice about it and we told her it’s okay and we would handle it. We called the restaurant and all of a sudden she claimed the Uber Driver never came , which is impossible because we saw the wrong order! She than proceeded to tell me I was wrong! After going back and forth she finally decided to have a delivery person to deliver the food themselves. Less than 5 minutes from that she called back with the same story about how the Uber driver never came, even though we have full proof! It was just such a disappointing experience and I will NEVER...
