Today we went on a little adventure — a sightseeing trip that took us by boat to the Statue of Liberty 🛥️ and then close to the Brooklyn Bridge 🌉. Seeing both from the water was a beautiful experience — there’s something very special about these iconic places when you’re floating right next to them. They feel historic, grand, and alive.

After the boat tour, we planned to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge — it’s definitely worth seeing up close, and it makes for amazing photos 📸. But! It was incredibly hot today ☀️🥵, and once we started walking, we realized it wasn’t the best idea for the weather. So instead, we just took a few great shots at the beginning of the bridge and enjoyed the view from there.

💡 Tip: If you’re planning to walk across the bridge, check the weather — especially in summer. There isn’t much shade, and the walk is longer than it seems when the sun is beating down. But on a nice day, it must be a wonderful experience!

📍Whether you walk it or just admire it from below, the Brooklyn Bridge is impressive and totally worth a stop. Same for Lady Liberty — even seeing her from a distance brings a little sense of awe 🇺🇸

📷 Take photos, soak it in, and make the most of the moment — New York has magic like no other city ✨

The Brooklyn Bridge is one of New York City’s most iconic landmarks and an experience you absolutely can’t miss. Walking across it is something special—whether you start in Manhattan or Brooklyn, the journey offers incredible views of the skyline, the East River, and the Statue of Liberty in the distance. It’s a truly unforgettable perspective of the city.

The pedestrian walkway is well maintained, with one side for walkers and another for cyclists, making it easy to enjoy at your own pace. The bridge itself is a marvel of engineering and history, with its gothic stone towers and sweeping cables creating the perfect backdrop for photos. Sunrise and sunset are especially magical times to visit, when the light casts a golden glow over the city.

Although it can get crowded, the energy and excitement of people from all over the world make the experience even more memorable. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, the Brooklyn Bridge never loses its charm.

Overall, it’s not just a way to get from one borough to another—it’s a New York experience in itself. The views are breathtaking, and the sense of history makes walking the bridge truly...

Brooklyn Bridge: A Popular Landmark!

The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the most famous landmarks in New York City, connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn over the East River. It’s a must-visit spot for tourists and locals alike, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and the waterfront.

Walking across the bridge is an unforgettable experience, especially at sunrise or sunset. The pedestrian walkway, separate from the car lanes, is always bustling with people—tourists taking pictures, joggers, cyclists, and street performers adding to the lively atmosphere.

The bridge itself is an architectural masterpiece, completed in 1883, and was the first steel-wire suspension bridge ever built. Its massive stone towers and intricate cables make it an iconic part of New York’s history.

Whether you’re looking for a scenic walk, a great photo spot, or a bit of history, the Brooklyn Bridge is a must-see! Just be prepared for crowds, especially...

We started from Manhattan entering at Brooklyn Bridge Pedestrian Walkway at Frankfort St and Park Row which is closed to car traffic. If you need to use a restroom, you need to walk to Starbucks coffee located at 38 Park Row #4 and you don't have to buy anything to use the restroom. The kindness you rarely find in New York City. It's an experence of a life time. We met many people from various states and countries speaking many. On September 11, 2001, Brooklyn Bridge took on a different role as an escape route from lower Manhattan in the wake of the attacks on the World Trade Center. Say a prayer for those almost 3,000 souls lost on that day as you walk the bridge.
