I’ve lived most of my life in NYC and never costed this park. East siders have it made! This park is gorgeous. It runs along the FDR and York Ave with east river views to Randall’s Island and LIC. The walking paths were full of moms, Nannie’s, joggers, people strolling to and from work and plenty of dogs for my Roxxi to say hi to. The were a couple of playgrounds from the 91st entrance up to the 87th area which had courts for pickleball or tennis and basketball. I saw some swings as well. There’s so much to do here—soccer for kids, tennis and basketball courts for all ages, plus swings and playgrounds for the little ones. The park has a nice walkway, and overall, it feels clean and safe.

One of my favorite moments was watching an elderly man playing basketball on the large court. It really shows how this park welcomes all ages. I highly recommend it...

The Mayor's mantion is, like: "Dis park is none of my effing business); the conservancy is kind, dedicated, passionate and welcoming ... rolling pedestrian hills and yoga for babies ... everything a public park aught to be (just scratching the surface -- cause there's all manner of nautical activity to unwind...
