Came here in early August 2020. Half the park is closed, I guessed due to covid 19, or maybe construction. Catbird playground has a very nice climbing area for kids, but not much else. It is a bit dated, but still very fun.

My son been going to this park since 6 years old.. his 11 now. He love this park because is always a lot of kids playing.. is a safe place for the kids but i still won't put my guard down.. sometimes is the safest place where things happens the most.. but.. nothing had happened yet.. so...

Always a great time with my daughter. Crowded on the weekends but never a huge issue. No dogs allowed, as with most NYC parks, but there is a dog park right next door. Also on the water, so in the heat of summer sometimes were lucky to catch a cool freeze and some soft serve on...
