Dishonest, greedy, unprofessional and low-key racist. This establishment is partnered with Medicare/Silver Sneakers to help seniors in the community stay active and socially connected. As an eligible Silver Sneakers member, my mother has tried twice to get a membership at this place over the years. The front desk staff has never tried to be helpful, instead each time my mother was told that she needs to pay out of pocket even after presenting her silver sneakers membership. She was given a membership fee schedule with senior rate being intentionally omitted. It is deeply concerning that an establishment continues to operate while blatantly neglecting the needs and dignity of its senior population. Such disregard is not only unethical but reflects poorly on the values we claim to uphold as a society.

I went there today to sign my kids for the swimming lesson. I have 3 kids. My daughter took a few classes from there before but didn't not learn anything we paid in full for 10 swimming lessons but because of her school schedule and after school activities she could take all 10 classes. Now that we have more time of our day we decided to sign all 3 of my kids again. When we came there, the service we got was not professional. 1st because I told them that our daughter took classes there before and that she haven't learned anything there yet. She took 6 classes and the other 4 I lost the tickets. I asked them to check there system on computer that we used only 6 passes but they didn't even bother looking saying you lost the tickets. I said okay what ever lets just leave that behind and let me buy other lessons for my kids all private and for all 3 of my kids. I can only do Sundays. They didn't even try to fit the kids into schedule saying oh maybe you should try queens college. Very shameful. I could have even tried signing my kids for more activities there but your loss. I will defiantly not recommend this place for any one of my relatives or friends I think they could have at least had a professional attitude. Maybe wrote the phone number down and said if we have any available time or any cancellation we will give you a call back. But NO. Also we tried calling him that same day and some lady answered a call and I asked to speak with the supervisor she answered he's not here and just hung up the phone, without any byes or have a good day. Very bad...

This place actually have a good potential, because like me finding a place with a pool for swim by far this place have very organized schedule. The thing is when I enroll myself, I’ve been given day pass by the lady name Hellen. She asked me to fill up application form, and turn out she’s part time worker and not have authorization to enroll me. At the day I came back to use my day pass to swim a mean lady at the front desk greeted me with a mean look. It’s seems I’m begged to swim over there. Been asked around there no one know the lady name Hellen who issue a day pass to me on the first day. But a lady by pool side told me to contact Rory, and it’s been more than two weeks almost every day try to call the number, only machine answered “ your business very important to us”🤷🏻‍♀️. And direct my call to Voice mail which is full and can’t leave a message at all. I got a voicemail and gave different number to call, a lady picked up the phone and I told her my reason to call , not even be able to finish my sentence she cut me and transferred my call to a different extension with same story with same answered machine and end up to voicemail which full. What a bad management, i’m very upset and didn’t expect this place will give me such a bad intention from the start. Just...

This center is terrible with handling customer service and the needs of their users. I will be visiting as a l4l applicant. I am driving home from college. On campus. Simply to attend this orientation. When I filled out the form, there was no choice except for an in-person orientation. Yet, I hear from my peers that a zoom call was provided to dorming students. I emailed MANY DAYS ago asking to reschedule. They got back to me TODAY, the DAY OF THE ORIENTATION, and told me I never emailed them and that my only choice is to call the place at 10 AM. My first call got picked up, and transferred to the FITNESS DEPARTMENT. My second call got picked up, and the lady said “what is ladders for leaders? SYPD?” WHAT IS SYPD ??? After that, my calls were never received again because their “mailbox” if full. This mailbox was a hold line. How is it possible to have a full HOLD LINE? The lack of organization, accountability, and pathetic usage of resources at this establishment warrants zero stars and an end to public funding. I hope this community center crumbles as hard as...
