This park is known locally as "The Snake Park" because of the large molded snake by the kids sprinklers. There are many different play areas, playground equipment, paddleball court, a small bike/walking path through a grassy area, not nearly as big as Marine Park nearby and not as many amenities, but also a bit quieter, overall a nice park especially for younger kids who the Parents want a smaller space to be watch them in... Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve always had a for weird feeling bringing by child to this park especially with the types of family that go there, from what Iāve seen they act stuck up and shield there child from playing with children based on their skin tone, they definitely exhibit racist tendencies but I go because of how close it is our home. Today solidified that feeling, how dare them! Still being racist in 2025 should be a crime in itself! Nasty set of people, I hope they get the life...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA very nice and well maintained playground for the kids. Lots of jungle gym and in the summer the sprinklers are always on. Kids love the giant snake that wraps around the park. Plenty of benches under the cover of trees so parents can sit and watch the kids playing in a nice cool breeze.
Sometimes it can be a bit noisy from the traffic on Ave. U but only when a large truck or motorcycle goes by. Plenty of parking usually on the side...
