Feel Beauty Supply — Attraction in New York

My first visit ever was 7/4. The big guy upon entry yell to ask for help but when someone asks he accused them of putting something in a purse. Which she did not. They keep all the small gels in the front and dont allow you to walk throughout the store with them. I wanted to look at something 3 steps away and he told me I couldnt bring it into the isle so when I put it down near where I got it he picked it up and put it behind the cashier and said under his breathe "the cash register is right there". How about I just wanted to take 3 literal steps to look at something to potentially buy. No one wants to be treated like a theif. This store treats everyone as if theyre stealing. Especially in a black neighborhood.. Its distasteful, and rude. Being watched your entire shopping experience is weird. Been to beauty supply stores all my life, This store might as well put all their products behind glass cases like CVS if thats how they feel. Definitely not a pleasant OR normal shopping experience. I’ve been going here for years , never ever had a problem here until today a new staff he’s bald with grey shirt today he had a African accent a lady was helping me and he came took the product Africa beat shove it in my hands , I usually don’t like to confront people , but I confronted him saying what you did was uncalled for and you should be a shame of yourself because not only you represent this store but yourself as well. Mind you there would usually be a chubby guy that greets people and help he’s nice he even interact with the customers sadly he wasn’t here. Very very disrespectful man They lost a customer today! The audacity to shove product as if I can't hear (yelling) because a lady was helping find the product is outrageous!!! I shopped at this location many times but today is my last time. I know why the store sales are low. Horrible customer service even as a regular smh. Happen around 11 , bring back the other guy that greets and help he’s like...

They close the store earlier than listed. I went out of my way to get there in time, for them to be sitting around 10 minutes before closing staring as I knock on the door as if I am invisible. *Please note that it was 7:51pm at the time of my original post. I could have gone to another store that cares for their customers, understands that sometimes timing isn’t ideal (as things like traffic and other obligations cause delays), and actually closes at the time provided to the public, but I chose to come here and was therefore too late to go anywhere else. It’s not as if I showed up at 8pm and attempted to beg and plead and inconvenience them! I was aware of the closing time and would have quickly purchased my products and left. Now I don’t have the products I urgently needed. Terrible customer service. Gracious acts and compassion goes a long way and encourages customer loyalty!
