Put an order online for pickup for a PS5 controller by mistake as it should’ve been for a different location. Although it says cancel online, it would not allow and said to call the store or wait 3 days for the order to be cancelled. I have been calling this graham location for days and no one ever picks up the phone. Today would be day 4/5 and still no answer. When I go online the status to my item says Delivered/ it was picked up. This is impossible as I have never been to the store. I will attempt to call them again today and unfortunately if there is no response an inconvenient trip will have to be made to the store and my partner and I will not be happy. Get it together !!
Perhaps I can edit with a positive resolve.
Update: My partner goes to GameStop and he is informed by the acting manager that apparently FOR WEEKS SOMEHOW THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO GET PEOPLE’S ORDER INFORMATION FROM ONLINE AND THEY HAVE BEEN COMING IN AND TAKING PEOPLES ITEMS. “PlayStation systems, games, controllers, all things for weeks from both of our locations” THIS IS NUTS! I asked if they don’t ask for ID And email and confirmation before their employees are just giving away merchandise. She told me they have things that allow them to get the item. Bruhhh this sounds so sketchy, I wouldn’t be surprised if an employee is scamming the company.
Anyways She then proceeds to give us the customer service number and said they will process the refund because this keeps happening with customers. When I leave and call customer service, they inform me multiple times that they do not process this refund because the store is the one who gave the merchandise away to the wrong person. Now we have to go back to this stupid store, call customer service while we are there (as advised by the representative) so they can explain this policy and walk them through a refund ! And pray they follow suit.
Absolutely ridiculous !!!!!! These employees need to pay attention and do their job. If this has been going on for weeks why not make sure extra precautions are taken?

Read moreTHIS IS THE ONLY (EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS) REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ FOR 2024 & BEYOND Let me just first say that i am a former employee of GS (another location - from 2023-2024) & the store mgr, Chris, for this store & Knickerbocker ave (he has both stores) is the most unapproachable human being & there are many other GS employees (like my prior supervisor) who feel the same way about him. I went in to return a preowned game that i received in the mail & was immediately told that they go based of the purchase date - not delivery date. He then pretended to call his district mgr (there was no background noise - so i know he was lying) asking him the same question. Afterwards, i told him that he was wrong because i use to work for GS & i also spoke to customer service - they go based off the delivery date. He then snapped & said "ok, you can leave my store & call customer service for this, i dont need to help you". In most cases, a customer would be pretty upset & snap back, but i kept my cool, called customer service, they said they are going to let his DM know about his performance, & assist me in the best possible way with my return (which they did ASAP). & the cherry on top, he was greeting other customers afterwards, meanwhile he wasnt even greeting anyone for the entire time i was there, he was complaining about his stores metrics & how it doesnt make sense how they are ranked ~600 (which is terrible - especially for both stores). In all honesty, BOTH - GRAHAM STORE & KNICKERBOCKER SHOULD BE AVOIDED! Even all his employees that work under him are picking up from his bad habits (which is why they are all rude & dont want to help anyone). & yes, i've been to both stores many many times - this is exactly how they treat everyone that walks in. Take my advice with the largest grain of salt & you will not ever be disappointed. If you need to buy, sell, trade, return, exchange, pick up, AVOID THESE 2 LOCATIONS - YOU'VE...
Read moreAbsolutely awful customer service. I called in reference to an online order I placed through their website that was never delivered to me and it originated from their location. The associate on the phone related to me from her supervisor that there was “nothing they could do about it.” Furthermore, I calmly asked to speak with the supervisor and the supervisor told the associate “there’s nothing we can do about it.” When I asked for the supervisors name so I could call at a more convenient time, I heard the supervisor say “you know what..” and then she hung up on me. I work in customer service myself and would never hang up on a customer, it is rude and disrespectful. I shop at GameStop frequently because my younger brother and I are avid gamers. However, I am livid at the treatment that I have received from this location and will never purchase from this location or GameStop again. I suggest that anyone else shopping for games steer clear from this location as well and just stick to Amazon and Bestbuy. Shame on the manager on duty, I understand that the holidays are a stressful time but a simple 2 minute conversation or a request to return my call would have been proper customer service etiquette. There needs to be a retraining of that manager of what proper customer service is, or she needs to be demoted. Absolutely unacceptable...
