Decided not to cook this morning & thought it would be a good idea to visit here. Well was I wrong!! We arrived & it was a wait time to be seated, which is fine. We then get seated WITHOUT MENUS. Other customers who came in after us have already ordered and got their meals. It took 20 minutes to get a menu. As we are placing our order our hostess didn’t even write anything down. It took an additional 30 minutes & kids starting to fall asleep at the table for our food to start coming out. NO DRINKS, NO SILVERWARE, NO NAPKINS! The children had to start eating with their hands for 5 minutes before anyone bought out silverware. My food still has yet to come. The server comes to ask me ( with plate in hand) am I waiting on pancakes that I never order. I tell her no I ordered a meal that didn’t include pancakes because I do not eat them. She walks off with an attitude & says she’ll be right back. She comes back with the 2 missing orders that are still missing drinks. As my mom starts to eat her food BOOM there are hairs in her food!! We immediately asked for the manager who gave a nonchalant attitude. After that it was time to pack up & leave. This has been the worse experience. The costumer service here sucks & health codes were violated! There was only one person who conducted themselves like they worked at a business & he was a busser (who ultimately got the tip) Everyone else either didn’t want to be there or just didn’t care! There are a lot of areas to work on at...
Read moreIs hospitality dead in certain hospitality establishments? Today my husband and I went to IHOP on Flushing Avenue Brooklyn. Our IHOP experience was not what we expected. I guess you can say we are a bit spoiled and use to a certain level of customer service because we frequent with IHOP, guess we chose the wrong one that day. While we waited to be seated a waitress with really cute blue hair acknowledged us and asked us if we were ready to to be seated. The host that seated us looked scared. Our waitress, I’m going to sum her attitude up to as she was not having a good day because if this is her true attitude, she’s in the wrong profession. She took our order however she was so fixated looking at my husband that she got the order partially incorrect and bought me food I could not eat. There was no ketchup my husband had to go look for some no flavors of syrup on the table you had to request them. I had to request water when other IHOP establishments already bring water out to you with your drinks. She never came to the table to see if we needed anything, we had to track her down for...
Read moreI've gone to this ihop multiple times being that it's the closest one to me, but unfortunately every time I come with my family it's the same experience all over. The fact that you enter this place and the atmosphere is just terrible from the start. The girls that attend to you in the front they should get fired. They have no courtesy, they just ask you how many people, they don't smile, they don't initiate that first comfortable and pleasant attitude. The waitresses here are awful. They don't even introduce themselves. They don't say nothing at all, they take your order come back with your food and you don't see them after that. I asked one of the girls where was their bathroom and they just point to it they don't even speak. Truly the food is not even served properly. This place needs new management, and new people to hire. If you don't wanna work, and have no motivation you shouldn't work at a place where you have to deal with the public because people are spending their money for good service. Not to see people's nasty personalities. This place needs a change. Will...
