I'm writing this review as a warning. I've been a loyal GNC customer for over 10 years and have shopped at this location for almost 4 years.
On two separate occasions, the manager’s conduct has been disrespectful, aggressive, and unprofessional. The first incident occurred when I was confused about a deal I had received the previous day. Although I tried to explain to him what happened, he persisted in speaking over me in a rude and demanding tone, even when I told him that it wasn't a big deal, 3 times, he kept speaking over me. As I left the store, He threatened me to "ban me from the store". I communicated with GNC customer service and everything was settled, I was told.
Today, the behavior escalated further. When I visited the store with my coworker, the manager refused to let us look for something to eat and abruptly told me, “Gomez, I need you to leave my store", "you're banned from this store". Despite my attempt to remind him that management had previously apologized for his aggressive and disrespectful conduct, and actually credited my account with 500 points to honor my complaint, he interrupted me repeatedly and threatened to call someone to force my exit for "trespassing". Due to his persistent interruptions and threats, I was compelled to ask my coworker to leave with me.
While I appreciate the excellent service from the rest of your team, especially his boss personally calling to address the situation and apologize, these incidents with the manager are unacceptable and have caused me significant distress. I hope that nobody else ever goes through this and that GNC takes...
Read moreI had recently signed up for a $40 yearly membership to receive rewards. I hadn’t really purchased anything since….. until today. I placed an online order for pick up and tried to take advantage of my paid membership and redeem some rewards!. I called the store at 6:36pm to ask when the order would be ready, no rush though, but no response. I called the store again two times after within an hour period, no response. I thought maybe they are busy and drove up there at around 7:20pm only to learn that they were closed DURING BUSINESS HOURS. The lights were on and there was a sign hanging there saying, “will return”. As of 8 pm right now they are still closed. I called customer service to cancel the order as I don’t have time for shenanigans, who told me only the store is able to cancel the order BUT THAT SAME STORE IS NOT PICKING UP THE DAMN PHONE, NEITHER IS ANYONE IN STORE PRESENT, even after customer service tried reaching them, did they die or wha? Don’t bother, I’ll cancel the Order and cancel the subscription some other way and get my money back because this is ridiculous and highly unprofessional. I’ll just stick with Amazon cause...
Read morePoor customer service. I walked in the store with packing slip and items asking for a refund for the online order. I was told that they cannot do return because the system is down. The cashier told me to call the phone number on the packing slip; so that, I need to ship the items back to the warehouse and I do not need to pay for the shipping fee as the cashier told. Therefore, I called the phone number and I was told that I need to pay for the shipping fee and they suggested me to return items to the store. I told the representative that I was in the store 20 minutes ago and they cannot give me refund because of the system down time and representative told me that the system works just fine and suggested me to return in store.
