Angel Nails Salon — Local services in New York

I used to come here often and then started to have problems around a year ago, every time I would get my nails done here I felt there was a lack of attention and care when handling my set. They often rush and don’t pay attention to what exactly is asked resulting in them mistakes and having to go back and fix which they sometimes catch an attitude about. Whenever I’ve spoken up about any mistakes or changes I’d like on the nails they try and convince me to stay with what is on my nails so they won’t have to spend time fixing them. I’ve felt that my nails have many times come out looking really bulky and thick. I have stopped coming here to get my nails done but I recently got a gel pedicure here as I’ve never had a problem with they’re pedicures. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back here for a simple pedicure either. The person who did my pedicure was going to leave my nails uneven until I asked. They were unsure about how many coats of polish to put on, and in the end smudged my nails and still put the top gel coat and dried it as it was. The polish is a mess and was left on my skin and around the sides of my cuticles which they didn’t attempt to clean up. Won’t be...

Came in for only a gel pedicure. There was no wait as it was early in the day on a weekday. I had an appointment and my usual lady took me right away, she is very thorough and efficient and was done within the hour. I had to wait on another nail tech to do acrylic on only one toe nail because it was broken. It took about an hour for someone to see me and do this one nail. Almost seemed as if no one wanted to do my one toenail. My lady and I had to remind the owner several times and nothing. I had to express my frustration until someone finally repaired my one toenail. They didn't care and took their time.

They have quick customer service.

Plus, they take all credit cards including American Express. Even though it's not listed, they do take it; it'll only be an extra charge of a few dollars. It may seem weird to list that here, but lots of Hispanic and Chinese businesses in Sunset Park are cash-only (some don't even make a sign to say that they are) and just point to the ATM machine. It's great that they take all cards and also have an ATM machine.

Another plus is that they're a multi-lingual staff. They speak English, Spanish, and Chinese.

Highly recommend to anyone that lives nearby.
