Good Fellas Barber Shop — Attraction in New York

Since moving into the area 2 years ago, David and Good Fellas Barber Shop has exclusively been the shop I trust to give me a perfect haircut. There is something special about this barbershop whether it be the friendly and fun atmosphere or the professional and masterful haircuts they provide. As a young doctor, having a clean haircut and beard are utmost importance in being a professional and David and his staff of barbers are skilled in keeping up with my desires for a modern look. The shop is clean, organized and appealing to those of all ages, from kids to seniors. The owner, David works carefully, perfecting his craft and it is very apparent how skillful he is with the clipper, scissors and straight edge blade. The great thing about the entire experience is how often the barbers involve me in the cut, constantly asking for my input and feedback while also offering skilled suggestions. The haircuts and beard come out flawlessly every single time. David and his entire staff work really hard to connect with his customers and obtain the perfect look for all. It is very apparent how much he values his customers. 2 years in, I continue to see how Good Fellas Barber Shop continues to grow and keep up with the hairstyling trends of our generation. 100% recommend this shop. Inexpensive, very kind people and respectful staff who all strive for perfection...

From the moment I spoke to David on the phone I knew he was professional; when I call I asked them if they were busy and what will be the best time to come, he told me that they were going to be having lunch for 1/2 hour and to come by then (it was 4:30sh and they haven’t have lunch). I like the fact that instead of having me come to the shop and sit and wait he was very precise with the time.

On our arrival, David introduced us to Al. And let me tell you, Al was absolutely great!! Not only was the shop owner nice but also his colleague. The reason I say this is because many barber shops are operating in their time, not on the customer’s time also the conversations were fantastic (the barber shops that I had attended were full of high testosterone and many times with inappropriate conversations). Al, speaks Spanish, English, Italian and Albanian!!!

David, has a great mannerisms and is very professional.

The decor is nice, trendy and modern. The music was very good too.

My son’s hair cut was A+ , Al took his time with the skin fade and there is a very nice unnoticeable gradient from the skin to the hair.

Next, I am bringing the husband for a well deserved hair cut after a two year barber sabbatical...

I moved to the Bronx about six months ago, when I found myself in the worst predicament NO Barber!

Never realize how hard it would be since I had one for over ten years. I first tried several ones along popular areas and that too was no luck. I was looking for a clean, sharp fade. The Barbershops seemed to all be a place to hang out and the wait time was always extremely long. I refused to continue to waste my time and come out with a horrible uneven haircut. David is Ace’s. You are able to make a online appointment. He tries to adhere to the time slots as best as he can which is considerate and shows true professionalism. The moment you step in the shop you can smell that he keeps everything clean, sanitized and in order. He takes his time cutting my hair and is not distracted by other things.
