They’re really doing a great job at revitalizing what used to be an abandoned park, the events have been so fun here. I hope that they continue to utilize this space, everyone should come here and sit when eating lunch! So close to Brooklyn bridge, fidi, and Chinatown. Visited this place today. I was very infatuated with the Banks and the vision for the future. Hung out with some friends and played some basketball / pickleball. Cannot wait for the next openings...

Yesterday I found myself at Gotham Park, the most incredible little park under the Brooklyn Bridge (on the Manhattan side) for The Longest Table… turns out, this is a park that skaters and two wheelers also love. I used to skateboard in middle school (not well), so when they lent me a board, I had to try it again. They supported my wobbly attempt to balance and I became a kid again. Magic of all kinds await at the table. We meet new neighbors, try different foods, and rediscover that childlike joy. Huge thanks to Rosa Parks for coordinating this incredible event, which both she and Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine declared an annual happening. Oh, and you can see the Brooklyn Bridge in the video - you know I’ve dreamed of doing The Longest Table across the bridge, so we’re getting a little closer!
