Found the staff to be rude, uncaring. They yelled loudly at each other across the salon the entire time I was there. I asked the pedicurist specifically to be gentle with my toes and they are sensitive to pain (I get frequent pedicures at other salons, this ask has not usually been a problem) and for the first time in my life, she used an actual small drill-like machine to smooth out near my cuticle. The opposite of my request inherently. Then I get to the manicure and the choice of polish colors is narrow, with different pricing levels and they were not cheap. 35 and up. With only a few options for the lower level. She didn't not at any point do the typical thing of checking in along the way "is this okay, how is this?". She kept walking away with no explanation to address an issue with another employee leaving me sitting there,By the end I was so frustrated. My nails were an uneven length, and when I asked, before she put the polish on "are you not going to clean up under my nails or anything like that?" She claimed "this is a gel manicure, not a regular manicure." I AGREE, it's double the price. Why wouldn't she do what came with a manicure+do the gel polish? Makes no sense to me at all. Gel manicures typically last 2 weeks on me with no chipping, as I know how to take care of them, I get them all the time,it is now 5 days out and one of my nails is already chipped. It's too long to ask for a fix and even if it wasn't I wouldn't feel comfortable going back anyway as they were very rude and clearly didn't care about the client experience. I spent 60 dollars for a pedicure that hurt me, and gel manicure that was uneven, didn't include core aspects of a manicure, and didn't last longer...
Read moreHorrible spot, won’t get my money ever again. I went here a couple times, my first time was okay, the last three times were horrible. Don’t remember the names of any of the nails techs but the first lady was kind, attentive and did a good job. I seen her the other times yet I was never serviced with her but instead with another girl two other times and she always rushed my nails and didn’t even seem to care when I asked for help to suggest a nail color they had similar to an inspiration picture. This is your typical chop shop, and to make it worse one of my gel nail sets were having bubbles appear randomly especially if I was in the sun. Also the vibe here is weird, they don’t seem to greet or welcome me with kindness but awkward stares, like they’re annoyed a customer walked in and they have to work. Last thing I got done was a regular manicure, and while my nails were in really bad condition, the nail technician barely shaped them. Their polishes are in horrible condition, I couldn’t see half of the colors because they were all separated. The nail technician made a remark “another one?” with an irritated face when I asked for her to do one more coat, when it looked ridiculously patchy in the first place. Nonetheless she was nice enough to help move my things and everything to dry my nails down, but they chipped later on the same day so it didn’t even matter. I could’ve spent that $13 on press ons...
Read moreThe staff at this salon was unfriendly. I walked in and explained that I wanted a regular gel mani and a normal pedi. The one lady who wasn’t busy at the time looked at me and her face quickly got upset. It seemed like they wanted me to choose a more expensive option like SNS. When I asked the younger girl who asked me to have a seat if her colleague didn’t want to take me, she brushed it off and said just have a seat. This made me feel uncomfortable because it seemed like they wanted to refuse service but then changed their minds.
When I was walked to the pedicure station, the lady’s demeanor changed. She then did my hands and seemed to try to smile here and there. When it came time to pay, I was charged an extra fee for paying with a credit card, which they don’t disclose when you ask for the price. Originally, I was told a flat rate of $75, and with the fee, my total went up to $81.66.
The icing on the cake was when it came time to tip. She pointed towards $18 and some change for tip, but I chose to leave a custom tip of $10. I hadn’t forgotten how I was originally welcomed, and I saw her face expression of disappointment when I did. She walked away without a “thank you” or “see you next time.”
How do you treat a new client like this? Is this the experience you want to give? I won’t...
