First, the skills are just ok with some flaws. But she cuts me… and after that she just said: oh sorry I’ll get you a liquid medicine to stop the bleed. Like it is a normal thing to cut your customers while doing manicure professionally. Secondly, I chose to do a French style manicure and with the same material, same amount of effort and time, same design, you need to pay extra if you want to change your base color other than the pinkish color, this just doesn’t make sense to me. Thirdly, after I paid with cash, she didn’t ask me to tip her but I still choose to tip even though she cuts me and I’m not fully satisfied with my nails, she saw the money and said: the minimum tips here is 15%. I’m like this is so rude!!! You are not even a little sorry about hurting me, you didn’t have any thoughts on making up for the accident that shouldn’t happened, now you are saying I should tip you more?? I ask her: so I either not tip you or have to tip you at least 15%? She didn’t reply me for a minute, I just stood there, then she said: ok I’ll take it. Whaaaaaaat???? I’m sorry You have to go through that????? I didn’t listen to my friend when she tell me not to do my nails here but i definitely will not recommend my friends to go here that’s for sure because there are tons of nail salon with a better price, better skills and...
Read moreI want to love it here, especially because there are multiple locations, but I leave disappointed every single time. You pay $65 for “powder dipping gel” which has ONE very light powder dip layer that is then filed all the way down, followed by a regular gel manicure. This takes my long strong healthy nails down to weak thin nubs that within a day start breaking and snapping. I spend months growing my nails back to healthy, go to a honey location, and leave with the most frail nails. Also, it’s an extra $10-15 just to soak off my last manicure because I didn’t do it here. So $78 plus tip for the most fragile nails that bend at the slightest touch. Literally $15 more than their gel manicure for ONE layer of powder that makes absolutely zero physical or visual difference. I used to only go here in a pinch for this reason, but now that my nails are ruined, im done. If you like gel and keep your nails VERY short, then this place is fine. They’re all kind and do a decent job overall so I feel terrible, but it’s not worth the price for their lack of flexibility or your nail health not being in their best interest. Months of nail strength reversed in...
Read moreI went here for a scrub pedicure ($55, regular pedi is $38). Thought my feet would get some quality time since I had not had a pedi since February (gross, I know). While I had done foot maintenance a few times since then, my feet still needed attention. Unfortunately, the woman, although very nice, did not offer to cut the nails (even if they're short, it is usually asked if I want them cut or just filed), the scrub part did not last any longer than a regular pedi, and the nail polish is already chipping off (none on the pinkie toes anymore). I got this done on 6/7 and it is only 3 days later. The only thing that was longer than a regular pedi was the leg massage (I got 7 minutes instead of the usual 5). The entire pedi was over in about 30 minutes. I guess I was just expecting more attention paid to my feet and not my legs. Would not recommend the scrub pedi or this place in general. It's clean and the staff is nice but I would go elsewhere for your money's worth. I've had better manis and pedis for the price of $55, not...
