I had purchased tickets for the Makeup Museum back in January pre-covid, for opening day on May 1st. Of course I was upset when the opening was postponed- but to my delight, someone reached out to me personally to rebook my ticket for the new opening in September and I made sure to come as early as I could, to soak in every bit of the experience. My assistant and I were greeted by the door where we received temperature checks and some hand sanitizer before entering. We were guided throughout the museum by the most lovely and knowledgeable staff member, and we were then given the opportunity to walk around on our own to go back and look through anything we may have missed or wanted more information on. We found this museum to be extremely informant AND fun- a time warp back to the 50s where makeup styling was the hottest commodity and struck some controversy.
