I went with a friend in this mall also known as Cross Bronx Plaza to Victoria's Nails & Spa. This was my first time. The salon was huge and beautiful. The lighting and the chandeliers were amazing plus they had multiple televisions. They had lots of manicurists. They did great work on nails and feet from what I observed. They offer a lot of services but their prices for fill ins are high in my opinion. The service was great and they were quick and very precise. My concern at this visit was safety. There were two guys that appeared to be casing the place. One black guy walked in looked around and walked out and chatted with a Hispanic guy standing just outside the glass doors and window. They kept peeking inside the window. Then the Hispanic guy walked in and stood right in front of the double doors just looking around. One of the workers approached the guy, asked how he could help him and he didn't respond. That was a red flag for me. He just looked right past him and said nothing. After a brief stare down and a brief chat, the worker told the guy to leave. The suspicious guys stayed outside and continued to peer inside the salon. Then the Hispanic guy, once again enters the salon, he says something to the the worker that approached him before and the worker yelled at him and said I told you no before. The guy exits once again. By this time I observed the other patrons and workers were as suspicious as I was. The workers began to periodically look up and at the door and the patrons were turning around to see what these guys were up to. The two shady characters chatted outside for a few, still peering inside the salon, when finally the black guy literally pulled his hispanic comrade by the arm of his coat. The hispanic guy was resisting but the black guy was relentless and kept pulling him. Five minutes had passed and there were no more sightings of them in front of the salon. Five minutes after that we left and I saw no sight of the two shady looking characters. I don't know what was about to transpire but I did not feel comfortable there. If the salon had cameras in the place, I didn't see them. As much as I liked the place, my experience was tainted. I don't know if I...
Read moreThe only place to go in this area wishing you find everything you need because if you don't be prepared to travel outside of the neighborhood. Really not much to shop for. It's an optimum cable location which the line is always wrapped around the streetbwith ppl waiting outside for hours and this was before covid like 10 years of long out the door around the corner lines. (SAD) I always feel bad for optimum/Altice customers when I go to this mall JUST LOOKING AT THEM STAND for so long especially when it's snowing is horrible I never had optimum/altice just because of this but always had internet just saying 😆 the other stores you can find here is a beauty supply, ihop, gnc, subways restaurant, a new furniture store, 99cent store which when I was there they barely had anything left on their shelves, a chase Bank and a Tjmaxx which looks like a real goodwill thrift shop with heavy inventory. It truly makes me think the employees or managers working here are bringing goodwill items shoes, shirts, pants, toys, even bags from a thrift store or home 😉.. shopping at this tjmaxx prior to coronavirus and never seen these used items. I think these goodwill items are being bought to the store unknown and get blended in on the shelves/racks mixed with the real tjmaxx things. They throw a red drop down price tag on item to sale and make a profit for their pockets. Shoppers won't be able to recognize the item as used thou I shop in many stores even thrift shops so I know. I am not even exaggerating this TJMAXX location items have looked really weird since Covid items looks more like personal donations being sold for a fee to Tjmaxx customers. Yes we do know everything changed but I can tell you I never been in a tjmaxx that have items which looks used in this manner plus I shopped at this location prior to covid over a 100 times never seen such a thing. The clothes look worn Dingy faded shoes have dirty bottoms tears pieces missing off of them clearance Bags look like they are used vintage but broken even when you look inside the inner linings were all worn and torn up...
Read moreI visited this location several times and I continue to push myself to overlook beyond the horrible customer experience that I constantly have from the staff. After my last experience, I can confidently say I will never visit this location again. I was excited to get a calendar planner to start my New Years resolution and I was very happy to find the item on clearance. Upon the time of cashing out the cashier informed me that the item was not on clearance. I was disappointed to hear that but even offended with the cashier negative mannerism and tone as I was trying to explained where I found the item and that I will like for her to verify. She refused to verify and stated she didn’t have to as she is been in that company for 11years and proceed to offer me to speak with the manager. Manager was even worse, she told me that they will not honor the price for me as “we don’t do that here.”She also stated that she will check the camera as if that will be a resolution for me. There was no empathy shown or any type of courtesy follow up offer . I decided to no be confrontational as I started feeling very uncomfortable with their tone of voice and body language. I am so dissatisfy with my experience and even offended. TJ Max should definitely retrain the staff for...
