Look up Ryders Law NYC. Stop contributing to this. Let horses be horses. Look up these horses condition. The website says “they come from Lancaster, PA”, cool, but they now live in a crappy building in the concrete city of NYC? Come on. These horses aren’t housed in stables where they can roam around freely. They’re forced to lug around humans for hours on end in the concrete city of NYC. These horses can be worked to the point of near death exhaustion. Please look up that law. I personally did not know how much of an issue this was until I was exposed to countless instances of horses collapsing in NYC

My son and two grandchildren took a ride this morning at 10 o’clock and we were over the moon about the experience. The horse was beautiful and the guide was fun and very knowledgeable. He was quite serious as well about the care and love of his horses. We are 100% in agreement that the horse and carriages should stay in Central Park as a vital part of New York culture. I am hoping that my grandchildren’s children will have this experience when the time comes. It was memorable in every way.

Had a great ride in great weather for December. This was our first carriage ride ever. The process was very easy to book online then I received a text and phone call from our driver with meeting directions on the day of our ride. Our driver pointed out landmarks along our way. Our horse was named Chocolate and we got to feed him carrots. We had three stops to take pictures- Bethesda Terrace, a round about with fountain (sorry I don't know the name) and strawberry fields.

It’s absolutely disgusting that people even think about forcing horses that are malnourished, forced to sleep where they see building and no grass, and forced to work in extreme heat and weather conditions. These horses are stressed and at there breaking point. I’m shocked this place is still running and people are willingly giving their money to an awful place where they abuse their horses. This place should be shut down and the horses should go to a farm where they belong not walking the streets of New York for hours or full days with no breaks or water just standing, walking, and moving. These horses show the abuse they are getting just by looking at them you can see their ribs showing, their eyes closing of tiredness, and their hooves in desperate need of a farrier, they deserve better. Please rethink your choices about doing these carriage rides, an hour of your happiness is not worth another hour of their pain. These horses can’t speak up for them selfs they can’t tell you how much pain they endorse so please speak up and do what is right for our animals who would do anything to help us and give them love. I hope people will read this and recognize that they have a voice too and please use it. Protect our animals from abuse, I know if this were one of our pets we would be devastated and hurt that one of our family members weren’t getting the life they should. Treat these horses as you would your own pet with love...

🖤 Black Star & Chocolate – 4th of July Elegance in Motion 🐴🐎🇺🇸

This 4th of July, I had the joy of spending magical moments with two more of Central Park’s royal beauties: Blackstar and Chocolate—each one unforgettable in their own way.

🐴🖤Blackstar – A breathtaking black stallion with a striking white star and nose strap. He is the definition of elegance and poise, with a calm, majestic presence. Friendly, refined, and graceful—he stands like a true noble of the park.

🐎🤎Chocolate – A glamorous former racehorse, full of energy, charm, and spirit. His presence is bold yet beautiful, and his charisma is undeniable. You can feel his racing heart—now calm, but still full of fire.

Both of them adore carrots, kisses, and affection, and I loved every moment of petting their silky coats and bonding with these extraordinary souls.

Every horse I met this 4th of July made me feel like I was walking through a dream—a royal journey through time, love, and beauty on...

We wanted to love this experience, but it just wasn’t great. We were in town the weekend of the NYC Marathon, and therefore were only able to spend about half of our time in the Central Park due to race set up. The drivers should have anticipated this (the race happens every year for the last 50+ years, and the course didn’t change this year), but they did not anticipate nor communicate this to us. We spent almost half of the ride in traffic on the street and the ride was cut short about 8 minutes with no acknowledgment, no apology, no offer in price reduction, and no alternative option to backtrack and take a different route to make up for the lost time. Our driver also got into a verbal fight with NYPD while we were in carriage over the traffic blockades. We were very disappointed, at the last of expectation management or communication more...
