My experience started off very unpleasant I called first hand to see if they buy coins from other part of the world and they told me yes... I made a trip on the subway all the way down to their store ...I arrived and was instantly looked down upon by the workers and other people that were customers as well no one knew of an "appointment " that one of the girls set up for me over the phone then they acted as if they didn't know what they were doing and finally after me repeating myself multiple times they figured it out had someone who wasn't even an expert look at the coins and sifted through them and told Lee whatever they told him Mr Lee came over to me looked me up and down told me right to my face my coins weren't worth really anything at all and told me there pennies basically which they weren't and offered me a couple dollars for about 20 something coins and told me if a coin collector came in they wouldn't even be interested the only reason I sold them was because I needed the money but was treated as if my business didn't matter to him and he could care less I was treated this way I assume because I have facial tattoos and piercings either way THATS NOT HOW YOU TREAT ANYONE NO MATTWR WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE AT ALL AWFUL AWFUL!!!!!! EXPERIENCE NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL TO ANYONE

I went to this APR 57 wholesale watch boutique in NYC on 57th street to look for several watches. A friend of mine whose a very good client there recommended me to go there. He knew I was looking for several rare watches, mostly Rolexes, for my husband, my father, and myself. I've done research and found out that none of the Rolex stores here in nyc even have any Rolexes for sale. There appears to be a huge shortage of these models and even the stores themselves don't have any available for sale. Anyhow long story short is I went to the APR 57 gallery and they showed me a number of extremely rare valuable watches that at this moment you can't seem to find elsewhere. They had these models in stock and the prices were exceptional as well as the condition and rarity of these items. They all came in their original boxes, and with full certificates and insurance appraisals. The prices came out to be about half of what I was expecting to pay elsewhere for these rare pieces. I would highly recommend if you are interested in any better watches to pay them a visit as well. They have the largest selection I've ever seen. I'm gonna be looking for a special diamond ring for myself as well, so I plan on going back there shortly.

Seems like another case of someone trying to bite off more than can chew, and potentially more. I gave Lee my watch back in March and asked him to replace my bezel (DOXA Sub-200). Please note that Lee uses a third party to repair his watches, this is not his core business. After a month of receiving no response I stopped by the store several times to pick up my watch (there was no point in waiting so long, knowing that it wouldn't be repaired in my mind). Every time I would stop by, Lee, would repeat the same phrase, "give me a couple of weeks". It is now July, I've stopped by over 5 times, called more than 20 and still haven't received my watch. The watch is valued at over $800 and Lee had the audacity to offer me $100 to offset his laziness perhaps. How hard can it be to give someone back the item that they left behind for a repair, this is now becoming a case of petty theft. I kindly ask for the watch to be returned.

READ!!! I had the worst possible experience at the store selling a vintage Chanel necklace. Here's the short version: A friend of mine was familiar with the business and he contacted the owner for me, mentioning that the asked price would be around $500. The following day I went to the store with the necklace after checking the current price on popular reselling sites ($1875 was the LOWEST). It took me forever to finally speak with the owner, he wanted to verify authenticy (understandable) and I told him the Chanel boutique was just down the block and they would be the best experts. He told me he would do that in the morning and ask someone to give me an appraisal receipt for $500. I told him the minimum i wanted was $700 and he said we would talk about prices when i come back the next day. When I went to the store the second time he didn't even acknowledge me for half an hour, instead of telling me he didn't have the chance to stop by Chanel. I ended up going to the store 3 more times & a week later after texting him with no response, I became so fed up with the runaround that I asked for the necklace back. He kept ignoring me helping other clients without even looking at me, knowing I was running out of time for an appointment on Union Square. I spend almost 2 hours at the store trying to get my necklace back and was forced to call the police. After they arrived he told them he was going to purchase the necklace for the agreed upon price of $500, which was never agreed upon!! He EXTORTED ME and wrote a check on top of that, cashing it costed me additional $8 because I didn't want to run around with a check & TD bank was around the corner. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS...

If there was a no star option they would get that. I brought my Lecoultre automatic in because it was running slow. Lee said to call him in three days. I gave him 4. He didn't remember me or the watch but told my "it'll be ready by next Wednesday." I gave him until Thursday. Again, he didn't remember me or the watch which is fine, he probably sees many people and watches every day but it seemed like every time I walked in there, I was starting over. Every time I'd get some explicit date that it would be ready. I went into that store 12 times in 4 months to check on the watch. Only the last 2 times did he remember me or the watch and that's because I was becoming a little peeved. He assured me that he had "his best guy is working on this" and "If I had a watch that needed repair, I would send it to this guy". Apparently they were looking for a part. What part, Lee couldn't tell me exactly: "Probably the main spring." and another time, "It's the balance" I finally just said "give me back my watch" Even that took almost 3 weeks of anger and confrontation. Then he tells me "The guys wife is sick". Every word out of his mouth sounded like a con job. When I finally picked up the watch yesterday, Lee was beaming, shook my hand. It's fixed! It's like new! I'm not going to go into details but it was not like new. An hour after I left the shop the second hand fell off. I have a warranty there but there's no way I would go back. I'm paying another $50 bucks to give it to someone else. I wouldn't trust 57APR with the...

I have a deep appreciation for luxury watches and wear them regularly, although I wouldn't consider myself a collector. My experience with Mr. Lee @ APR57 was nothing short of outstanding. In the pastI've purchased from a well-known watch company in Philadelphia, but after dealing with APR57, I realized there was a significant difference in knowledge and service.

I spoke to Lee from APR 57 and I must say he was exceptional to work with. Not only did he offer excellent pricing, but he also provided valuable insights into the watches I was interested in. I decided to trade my Patek 5990 for a Patek 5980 in rose gold and purchased an unworn AP Royal Oak chronograph with a stunning blue dial. Both watches came with their original condition and papers, and Mr. Lee ensured that the papers were genuine and properly registered.

One thing truly appreciated about the experience was Lee’s fairness in assessing the trade-in value of my watch. Despite the inevitable wear and tear from regular use, he didn't exploit minor imperfections as an excuse to lowball me. Instead, he suggested a fair solution by recommending a simple polish to restore its appearance, to which readily agreed

To sum it up, I would wholeheartedly recommend The APR 57 services. They have earned my trust as my go-to watch dealer. In fact, I'm already planning to return in a month or two to trade in my platinum Rolex Daytona. Looking...
