The place is hidden gem! Got massage from Sunny and my partner from David, both are very knowledgeable . It’s definitely the place where they know what they do! It’s not a fancy spa, but I love it so much, because that type of massage my body asking 😊 Will definitely go back again! Very convenient place

Prices are very affordable and each staff seems attentive. Highly recommend for those who want a deep tissue massage.

I had a great experience at Okuyama bodywork today. Highly recommend this place.

Simple yet Warm Decoration When I went into the room, I was amazed of how spacious and clean it was compared with the other places I have been to before. I like the way the towels properly folded and that the light was not too bright nor too dark. The smells from the cute aroma diffuser made me feel very relaxed, physically and mentally. There is also body massage oil available if you like to use (I chose lavender! It smells nice and feels great!)

Professional & Trust worthy Massager I had problem in sleeping and my back hurt for a couple of weeks. Micheal diagnosed my situation and quickly found the knots on my back and shoulders. His hand pressure is just perfect, making me feel like right to the point. The special technique Called “acupressure“, a technique from Japan, is beyond amazing. He used this technique, because I specially asked for a solution on the soreness on my legs after exercises. My legs and feet feel so greatly revived after. He also stood on my back at the end, the little deep breaths I had one after another made me feel totally rejuvenated.

I had been to so many other massage places in Manhattan. Michael is the best! If you like any kind of massages, especially deep tissue massage, you don’t want to...

Sunny is an intuitive healer and now a dear friend. I can’t express my gratitude enough. I work and play hard—my job is physically demanding, and I hold space for others daily. Finding Sunny has been a true blessing. She won’t be around forever, and her gifts are rare. She is a multifaceted force, and I feel incredibly lucky to receive her care at such an accessible price—so when I can, I tip her as much as possible.

I am only able to succeed in what I do because she is so exceptional at what she does. I believe she is particularly skilled in working with women who understand their bodies, have experienced sports (or life) injuries, and are committed to healing. But she is versatile—if you need a gentler approach, she has an intuitive ability to adapt.

Our communication is mostly through body language, eye contact, and the universal language of humanity—though Google Translate helps, too.

Sunny, thank you for being such an essential part of my wellness. Your skill and care mean the world to me, and the West Village is lucky...

Absolutely amazing bodywork - massage isn't even the right word, you go there to get worked in the very best way. I would also never call it a spa, it's a basement - your room will only have a curtain closure, your masseur might have to answer the phone to take an appointment or converse with other staff mid service, that all being said once your aesthetic expectations are set you will be blown away by the bodywork which is not for the faint of heart. She used a lot of acupressure, and checked in often to make sure it wasn't too much, so you can absolutely go lighter but it was great to take it to the brink of painful since it was doing so much good. I did 90 minutes and easily could have gone for the full two hours. 90 minutes was also only $80 (!!) since I paid cash which will make this part of my monthly routine (they give you a punch card!). Really outstanding experience, I'm excited to try their other services and will...
