Jack’s Barbershop — Local services in New York

Why would you open a barbershop like 2 doors down from the best barbershop in Manhattan. Maybe it’s like opening a McDonald’s next to a truly great restaurant - they get the starved overflow. While their business strategy is questionable, Jack’s leadership have certainly done an excellent job paying randoms to write blatantly fake reviews (“a cut above the rest” lol) for their newish outpost on Christopher St, which has been mysteriously empty every time I’ve walked by it to get my haircut...

I had a really difficult time finding a good barber in NYC for a long time. Until I met the guys at Thee Brooklyn Barber. I've use to go all the way to Williamsburg for my cut and am pumped that they are now in Manhattan.

Not only are the haircuts perfect. The barbers are genuine, down to earth guys that are fun to be around. O, did I mention they are also a fair price -- which is hard to come by in NYC!

I've been to countless barbershops in my 7 years of living in NYC, and none of them compare to Thee Brooklyn Barber. I'm very particular about my haircuts, and it takes a lot for me to commit to a shop. The staff is incredibly talented, detail-oriented and efficient. They have tons of experience and it shows. This place is like family. If you're deciding between Thee Brooklyn Barber and somewhere else, look no further. This is your spot...
