I contacted this business due to the reviews but Iâm convinced these are made up. They are not affordable at all and I was appalled with the service. They donât specify the price youâd pay over the phone. When the locksmith contacted me, I was told that a specific price could not be made till he saw the lock. When he arrived, he told me that the visit itself was $29 and if the door was open itâd be about $240-290. I agreed but after he tried to pick the lock and complain about the type of door. He found that he could not open the door without damaging the door to open it. He was unable to pick the lock. Somehow the locksmith still asked for full price for fidgeting with the door. We were shocked since the door was not open. We agreed to pay him for his visit but he then asked for $195 for fidgeting with the door. Every single member of our household is on the force so an issue such as this was nothing we have not dealt with in the field. He went on about minimum service for moving the handle of the door around and said that he just put oil alone in another person's door and was paid $250 for his service. We didnât want the matter to escalate so we called the number provided by this business to notify them. They had told us they apologized and that theyâd contact the locksmith's boss. He still insisted on getting at least $195 but we had said back what he told us. â you requested $29 for the visit alone and $240 if the door was openedâ The door was not opened so weâll pay you for your visitâ the locksmith would not accept it until we called the number again to speak to a manager and was told his manager would call us but before the manager could call us (from what I can tell, the manager was texting the locksmith) he all of a sudden said that the visit payment was fine. As he left we all spoke with the locksmith to tell him we were not against him but that what he was asking was unfair and wrong. The locksmith then said that he had nothing against us as well and thatâs...
Read moreVery unsatisfied with the service. The receptionist did not understand a single request we made and they even got the wrong address. We specifically asked if they could send us an invoice to pay with a check to what they responded "Yes", the receptionist said somebody was going to call our office to get all the information and nobody ever called, few hours later, i received a call from my tenant saying somebody from their company was demanding payment from her (being rude to her and yelling) when: We were told we were going to get an invoice. They were demanding payment before completing the job.
We called twice to get an explanation of everything going one and nobody seemed to know what was going on, nobody knew what the service address was, who was there or what was the request we originally submitted. Once we found out the job was not done and they were demanding payment, i spoke to the owner and asked him to tell his techs to leave because we were not happy with all the lack of communication between his employees. We asked them not to call us and we have received over 6 calls already about this same issues. We would appreciate if in the future there is more transparency and honesty with...
Read moreI had my jacket (and thus keys) stolen. David opened my apt door and put in new lock, because he said he could not just make me a key from the lock. Total was $1085. Only price given was 450, which I assumed was the total and didnât know the real total until after. Why. Was. It. That. Much. Took him 2 minutes tops. Felt a little scammy to charge for both opening and changing lock if one includes the other by default. He only accepted Zelle and didnât give a receipt.
Update: I checked with Greenwich locksmith and he said he would have charged $250. This place is a total scam do not bother. The place is not even local like it pretends to be....
