This location won’t stop harassing me with absurd messages since my teen discontinued their services a few years ago!! Even after I have blocked them numerous times!

They consistently had my child waiting beyond our scheduled appointments and Elena would see other clients while we waited and rush my teen’s treatments ($1600-$1800 cash IDALIS gave on a discounted package). This caused my child hair regrowth to come in significantly sooner than what we had anticipated and only realized that they were using the least amount of light / strength that targets the hair pigment thus trying to force more treatments as if we are made out of money!!! I was never their client but they would know this if they were actually listening!!

I had initially left a glowing review a few years ago after the initial appointment but realized they treat West Indian clients differently!!!! On our final appointment I got into an argument with IDALIS because her rooms have no privacy. You can hear all her discussions with other clients! SHE WAS BEING CONDESCENDING UPON CONFRONTING HER ON MY TEEN’s LACK OF PROGRESS, WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN EVIDENT BY THIS STAGE IN HER TREATMENT PLAN!!!!

In any case she had a doctor who was pushing a woman to get BOTOX and we were the first appointment on that day but she and Elena who was giving someone a chemical peel in the other room ignored us for 45 mins and then she claims that had an event that day for those interested in Botox. This has nothing to do with the clients who already had appointments for other services, but she tries to guilt you into feeling bad for the situation. They even took a girl that came in after us first while we had the first appointment. So yeah they stereotype! That’s a you problem not mine, especially when they stress that they adhere to strict appointments times. THERE WERE TIMES WE WOULD BE STANDING OUTSIDE WAITING FOR YOU ALL TO EVENTUALLY OPEN THE FRONT DOOR ON APPOINTMENT DAYS!

I went on for a consultation and bought a package of 5 or 6 sessions for 6,000 plus tax for Vella shapes ( I’m still figuring out if I was over charged, i think i was ). Each area cost $300 by itself so, basically each area cost $600 for both sides . My package included the entire leg( inner thigh, side of legs, hamstrings, and quad area) and my stomach plus the sides. I didn’t pay all up front (good thing) i only paid around 4,000. I only had 2 sessions and i told owner that i just can’t pay anymore. I couldn’t see my self spending so much money. I reacted in the moment and didn’t do my homework, so it’s my fault. In the end because i only went through with 2 sessions I had to pay each area individually. On my third session i just did my stomach so i could use my remaining balance . The owner really tried to get me to pay the balance and continue with services. Obviously I walked away upset, was a lesson i paid for. I just advice everyone please do your research. The owner yadalis is a really nice lady. She’s a nurse from Columbia . I’m not sure if the prices are set or it varies with each person. The area and place is old and nothing fancy. It felt like a home that was converted into a business(there a bunch of Greek men that live next door and sit outside talking). Anyway, i got very little result but i only for 2 sessions and stomach area, not 4K results though. Maybe I would have saw more results if I would had completed my session. Who knows? There’s way better deals...

I was invited to a function recently and Idalis, was one of the panel members. As part of the event, everyone was given a raffle ticket and I didn't know what the prize was but I actually won a gift certificate for a complimentary facial at Renew Esthetics. I believe that if you give someone a gift it should be given from the heart, with no expectation of any reciprocation other than gratitude. One of the reasons I was so impressed when I received my facial today is that Idalis didn't try to sell products to me, or get me to add additional services while I was there. It was truly a "gift". Her demeanor is soothing and professional. She explained everything beforehand and let me know how different products would feel on my face before applying them. I've had facials done at nice spas before but what I realized today is that a medispa is different. Being able to see in high magnification the texture of my skin and having Idalis explain what I was seeing, was so educational for me. We discussed laser hair removal which I'd been considering but she didn't push the issue. As a matter of fact she told me not to do it now because of my skin type and to wait until the fall /winter regardless of where I get it done.
