I didn’t want to give up on getting involved with Saints church. Being I deeply resonate with the pastors message & I love the outer operation. Though upon recognition with trying to recieve mentorship I have been deeply offended, by Denise a leader in the mentorship community.

She assigned me a mentor that to me didn’t meet my needs, so i ended my mentorship. Denise calls me & I tell her where it went wrong, and her answer to my solution “So you’re looking for a more advanced, mature mentor?“ ofcourse! As I explain my needs she says “Well everyone has a life so I’m not sure I’ll have to see”

The next day, I bought up my feelings to Denise & wow the response was very explosive to say least, she even proceeded to call me accusatory when I mentioned just what I had noticed. She proceeded to keep reiterating she can’t think of anyone who could fulfill what I was looking for, instead of hearing me with an open heart. I have never felt more unheard and unseen. For a mentorship leader of a group the response given to me was attitude, yelling, constantly being interrupted as I’m trying to explain and gaslighted into believing nothing wrong was said instead of an apology and empathy. I was told the mentors aren’t being paid, they volunteer so I couldn’t get commitment & accept shortcomings being that all this is voluntary. From a church this is the answer.. whew That kind of response to someone seeking for mentorship & involvement is extremely hurtful to not only me also to the perception of the church as a whole.

She got so frustrated and had her husband take over the conversation, he was calm, still very dismissive of what I had said. The conclusion was from him, I must have misunderstood but I can continue mentorship. No, thank you! The answer was clear and simple.

I do not want to be apart of a community that has this mindset, volunteer or not! Because you aren’t getting paid you use it as an excuse to why you can’t be involved and empathic? The way you do anything, is the way you do everything.

In the Bible it states: “‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” ‭‭Matthew‬...

For anyone reading this please understand that churches like this practice paganism ways, although they call on Jesus Christ or say they know God , They don't. For those who love God will do the will of the Father , in order to Follow Jesus you must pick up your cross and follow him daily. Here's the break down. Holidays- easter , Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's day, all paganism ways that God is not happy with and this Church follows celebrates all of them. Eating of unclean Animals: Worshiping God on a pagan on a pagan day Sunday, when God says clearly! worship and rest on the Sabbath day. And no I'm not 7 day followers and yes I understand the word of God and led by the Holy Spirit . I understand that when you walk in this church u feel happy you feel peace but it's not what you really feeling and they know it, the leaders of the church troubles with! Adultery and have fallen and slip away from there authority what u experiencing is a spirit of Antichrist to trick you into the false ways , I was there trust me this is why back sliding is happening so much because you sit among the double minded: I saw a vision around 10 years ago of when I sat there in the service I saw dead bodies laying down on the pathway of the entrance while they open for service I saw people walking on top of them on the floor I saw walls cracking I look up and saw the lights swinging back and forward: God is not happy with this Church , Those who is reading this message please its important you part ways and find a church that separate themselves from the world and please and focusing on every 10 Commandment of God law : and accepts Jesus Christ as they savior : I am Led by the Spirit not by my will, anyone reading this pray and read the word of God the Questions to your answers is in the Bible let the Holy spirit guide you , no man is no Island. Jesus Christ is coming...

I was a former church member here at Christ Tabernacle Church and want to add that when it comes to this church main leadership Pastor Durso and Maria Durso, this is the church to visit. Just to see if it can become your home church. You can and will feel the presence of God here. I know I did when I was a member.

Staff members are very welcoming to people. I started to serve in my first year right after becoming a member. As much as I enjoyed and loved this church, I had that feeling, that God was leading me to new grounds after being a member and serving here for six + years. This is the sister church to Brooklyn Tabernacle Church that's the overseer is Pastor Jim Cymbala. These two church go hand in hand.

They preform some very nice plays for special events like Christmas, Easter and so on. The Choir is large and a delight to this church. They have a few CD's for your listening pleasure. They do many collections for families in needs, disaster relief and many more other programs to help out in the community and surrounding areas. They have the building next door as the main office and have opened up the Legacy Center that another benefit to this church.

They have a very high number of members and not to add visitors as well. They have a few different hours of services to attend. There was a time that parking was very difficult but they have opened up space to accommodate their members and visitors alike.

May God continue to bless them and always keep open the flood gates of heaven. This church will always hold a special place...
