Greenhouse Cafe — Restaurant in New York

This review might be a little bit biased, but my bridal party threw my bridal shower here and it was the best time! I had about 25 guests and we were able to get our own private room, away from the main entrance of the restaurant - meaning no random people ever mistakenly came into our room.

The bridal shower was 12-3 but my BMs told me we had the space until 4 pm, and that they were able to get there as early as 10:30 to start setting up.

Food was buffet style but with servers - a mix of brunch foods and regular food, so we had bacon, sausage, eggs, french toast, egg frittatas, chicken marsala, penne vodka, salad, and the best garlic cheese bread that was ever made to exist (and I'm probably missing a few dishes). There were huge carafes of red/white wine at the tables, and also someone serving mimosas.

The cake was also included, which was really good - and I'm not normally a fan of sweets. At the end of the event, they let us take home whatever leftovers there were, so fortunately (and unfortunately), I took home a lot of bacon.

Nice space for special events, and now, I definitely want to come back and try their...

We had a farewell dinner for our manager who was promoted and let me just say that from start til finish, we were not disappointed. Open bar all night, the food OMG was so good!!! We had family style appetizers which consisted of: fried calamari, fried zucchini, stuffed mushrooms, thin strips of glazed chicken on a stick and finger sandwiches of grilled mozzarella on whole wheat. The next course was penne alla vodka...delicious!!! Then a house salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Then the main course: filet mignon, chicken francese topped with shrimp, potato croquettes, steamed vegetables. It was amazing!!! Last but not least we had a cake to wish her well on her new venture. Everything was worth the money we spent. The Greenhouse Cafe did not disappoint us at all. Their staff was very professional and courteous. They waited on us and we never had to go looking for them. They were never far away from us. They kept coming and making sure that we were enjoying ourselves. I am definitely going back there again. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great place...

Attended a Sunday Brunch at the Greenhouse Cafe for the first time. We have been searching for a decent brunch location around Bayridge for a while, and we thought that this location would be an amazing place considering their menu options, as well as their unlimited cocktails. We ordered the chicken, and steak sandwiches and they were both amazing. The food overall was above standard, but the service was a little rough. The location wasn’t busy until an hour after we have already been seated, however, during the slow time our waitress took a decent amount of time to get our food and drinks. We kept having to ask different waitresses that weren’t assigned to our table to bring us something we needed. One waitress in particular stood out to us, unfortunately I did not catch her name. She had short blonde/highlighted hair, and wore glasses. She was very attentive to us, despite not having us as her table. Her service was absolutely amazing, and she deserves to Be commended for it.
