I've been a loyal client at 2Moods for the past three months, and I absolutely adore my nail tech, Anna. She consistently does an outstanding job on my nails, and I always leave feeling pampered and polished. I also want to give a special mention to the usual receptionist — the blonde young lady — who is always warm, welcoming, and provides amazing customer service. She's one of the reasons I’ve felt so comfortable returning time and time again.

However, during my last visit on April 1st, I was quite taken aback by the experience I had with a different receptionist who I had never seen before. From the moment I arrived, the energy was noticeably different — she wasn’t welcoming, and her demeanor made me feel like my presence (and even my friend’s, who accompanied me) was more of an inconvenience than anything after she declined services when asked.

There was also a miscommunication regarding my appointment. I had originally scheduled a mani-pedi, but the Friday before my visit, I let the regular receptionist know I’d only be doing a manicure on April 1st. Somehow, this wasn’t communicated, and I was told I’d be charged half the price of the pedicure for a “last-minute cancellation” — which I absolutely did not make. I found this really disappointing, especially since I ended up doing an additional service that day — brow lamination and shaping — which was a $80 add-on. The brow service itself was great, and the young lady who performed it was sweet and funny. I tipped her $20, just as I always tip Anna $20 or more for her excellent work.

What made the situation more uncomfortable was how the receptionist insisted on the cancellation fee, even after I explained the miscommunication. She also tried to get me to use Zelle, saying the fee would be cheaper, which was confusing to me since Zelle is generally free — and I’ve never been charged for using it anywhere else.

To top it off, while I was getting my nails done, my friend (who had flown in that day from Florida and came straight from the airport with me) asked to sit nearby so we could chat. The salon wasn’t busy — only two other clients were present — and there were plenty of empty chairs, but the receptionist made it clear through her facial expressions and body language that my friend’s presence wasn’t appreciated. It was awkward and disappointing, especially when I’ve always spoken so highly of this place.

What stung the most was that after my services were complete, she didn’t even ask if I wanted to schedule my next visit — something the usual receptionist always does with a smile. I left feeling undervalued, and honestly, a bit embarrassed that I had hyped this place up to my friend who witnessed the whole interaction and commented on how poor the customer service was.

Again, I can’t say enough good things about Anna — she’s amazing, and I truly appreciate her artistry and kindness. But this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope this was just a one-off and not a sign of declining service, because I really do love...

I’ve been going to 2Moods for about a month, more or less and in that time, I’ve already been there four times, which is ridiculous. While the in-salon service is nice, the results don’t hold up. Spending $190 for a Russian manicure and pedicure that starts falling apart in a week or two is unacceptable. Either their products are low-quality, or the techs just don’t know what they’re doing.

They’ve tried fixing issues I’ve had before, like a chipped nail, or not properly done cleaning of a cuticle on my manicure but their solutions JUST. DONT. LAST. For example, they used hard gel on my nails, but even that chipped quickly. Hard gel is supposed to be durable, yet it doesn’t hold up probably because they apply such a thin layer it’s barely doing its job.

The last time I went was the final straw. My pedicure is literally peeling off in whole pieces on multiple toes. They told me they used hard gel, but at this point, I’m not even sure if that’s true. I’ve done hard gel for years because my nails are thin, and it usually adds a solid protective layer. But with how thin the application was, it’s clear they’re either cutting corners or don’t know what they’re doing. To make it worse, they said they fixed the chip on my pedicure, but it’s obvious they didn’t. I’ve been doing my nails routinely for three years and decided to give them a try because they’re close and easy to book. But I’m not walking around in bedrock where my nails should get this messed up. I won’t be going back.

I take pride in my nails, so maybe I’m picky but the pictures speak for themselves. At this point, I don’t want them to fix it or make it right I’m completely over it. They have offered to remove everything whenever I go to get my nails fixed but I don’t want them to do that because that’s not what I need or want. I only want them to correct what is wrong nothing less, nothing more. I would never recommend this place to anyone. EVER!

The light-colored pedicure is what I have now, but the red nails with the destroyed cuticles and chipped toenail. That was just a few days after leaving your salon. This is completely unacceptable, especially after a Russian manicure, my nails should NEVER look like that so soon. There’s absolutely no excuse for this. No, it’s not my shoes, and no, there’s no bruising or anything to blame it on. This is just poor work,...

I’ve made manicure with Milena, and on the second day after I’ve done my manicure start to chip on sides on my 4 nails on both hands each.

I was busy with my life during last week, so I’ve got to come for my nails repair just 2 days ago. First of all, Milena did not wanted to fix her mistakes and repair my nails saying if any other girl like Adelina can do it, and I had appointment (so next time ladies if you book appointment with Milena make sure if she’s in right mood to do that, apparently it’s her mood not appointment time or work schedule matter)!!

Second, when Milena started to do my nails repair (fixing HER mistakes), she have made my nail, which were needed just to change the hard gel polish on top of my nails (I had no broken nails yet by this time, thank god), Milena simple shaped my nails shorter - so my nails stated to look all in different length and shape on same hand. After I saw that my nails are all looks different and that Milena made my 2 nails look shorter, she started to make extension of my 2 nails - the service which I DID NOT asked for!! So, now, my nails which Milena did extended are having thicker layer of gel and look different than others.

Aren’t we paying for service and living tips for reason customer be provided service which they ask for, and for job which is made well?!

Also, I had to sit on dirty table (the nails dust from previous customers!) while Milena fixing my nails, which is absolutely unacceptable because I have skin allergies and I’ve got already skin damage from the bacterias I’ve got on my skin!!! On top of everything what I’ve said Milena did my nails in broken gloves, so she was touching my hands with her bare hands, and I’m not sure if Milena have used clean and sanitized tools while she was making repair of my nails.

Julia, go ahead and check the cameras and you’ll see how your NOT LICENSED employees doing their job, and buy them more gloves for work if they scare to use it!

Absolutely unprofessional, the price and quality are...

I did a russian mani and pedi, this is my second mani at 2moods. My first session mani was great, nails lasted a month and more except my thumb chipped on the corner. My second time, I did a mani and pedi and I'm just disappointed since I spent $200. My pedicure, two toes w gel fell off three days after. I alerted 2moods immediately and they offered to fix asap but I was leaving for vacay and they offered $10 discount for next session. Now my manicure, a few hrs after leaving the salon I realized I had some cuts on my skin near the cuticle area was red, probably from drilling mistakes happen. But then I felt the sides of my nails stinging which I think is from my tech filing the sides of my nails too hard. It didnt really hurt until I left the salon and my fingers were swollen for a few days. Then my thumb chipped like the first session a week after the manicure and my fingers are peeling around my nails? I didn't have this happening to my fingers the first session so I'm just worried my nails are damaged or my cuticles are messed up now because I'm being told it is caused from overdrilling/filing. I really do like the service and everything about 2moods but my second experience just makes me worried about giving it another chance.
