St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church — Attraction in New York

Beautiful church, but they’re lost in a sea of senseless ethnocentrism, cartoonishly sticking to the “Julian calendar”, stupidly doing Christmas in early January, not to mention the silliness of the doing Pascha, and, thus, Lent and Pentecost, on entirely different dates than the Catholic Churches that are 2 blocks away.

A tourist in town for Christmas ought avoid here.

You can always come, confess your sins in any language of the world, receive absolution and leave there after the service as a completely different person with a great desire not to sin anymore! It is a beautiful CATHOLIC church. For those of you who said it was Orthodox you are wrong. It is Catholic under the Pope of Rome.
