I have been going to Jillian for my color for going on 4 years now and she is truly the best blond balayage color specialist I have personally ever had. I’d actually like to break this down into two sections as it rightfully deserves - skill set and customer service/relationship. When it comes to Jillian’s skill set, she’s an incredibly talented and knowledgeable color specialist. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to blonde balayage and her repertoire of beyond satisfied customers shows that. She’s incredibly experienced in the craft and also has a passion for coloring blonde, which makes her skill even stronger. When it comes to customer relationship - Jillian is equal parts inviting, welcoming, communicative, and professional. Every time I come to her for my hair we always have a conversation and touch base. It can always be nerve wrecking coming into a salon as hair is so personal however Jillian is a great listener and wants to make sure you get what you envisioned. I have been seeing Margo for years and there is nobody else I trust with my hair!! She is easy to talk to (and I’m shy!) and always knows exactly what style would look best on me. I give her the tiniest idea of what I would like while still asking her for guidance and she knocks it out of the park every time. She really understands what hair style compliments, your features and face shape which is something I value so much in a stylist. she also understands hair health and helped me bring my hair back to life after I neglected it for a few years.

I feel so confident after visiting this salon!!! She goes out of her way to make sure you leaving feeling like the best version of yourself whether you are getting layers, a trim, bangs, a bob (I have gone to her for all of the above)…. Even if I woke up one day and decided to get a bowl cut I know she would make me feel like my best self.

This was the WORST salon experience of my life. I went in for what was supposed to be a 2 hour visit and left 7 HOURS LATER. The colourist barely tried to understand what I wanted which should have been the first flag to tell me to get out of there. Throughout the whole process, she barely talked to me or explained what she was doing. I was clearly uncomfortable and trying to get her to tell me what she was doing to my hair. She did not even try to small talk and just frowned the whole way through. I ended up with fully bleached blonde hair which I did not want. When she was finally done and started drying it at the 6 hour mark, she realized she messed up and I had to go BACK to the sink for more color and touch ups. I left angry, frustrated, upset and I hate my hair because my colourist did not even try to understand or talk to me about what I wanted. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR HAIR.
